Hello!
I received my Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), Mumbai, India, in 2017. Soon after my Ph.D., I joined as Research Scientist (2017-2018) at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India, before coming to Yeungnam University in 2018, South Korea, as an Assistant Professor and later as Associate Professor (Research) at UNIST in May 2023.
My current research interests include advanced functional materials physics/engineering, energy/photo-electrocatalytic materials, photo-electrochemistry, electrode/electrolyte engineering, unique exohedral carbon nanostructures (CNO, heteroatoms doped CNO) coupled with binary/ternary (metal oxides, metal sulfides), LDH, MOF, and MXenes (all 2D nanomaterials) for environmental sensing and clean energy conversion (DSSC, CO2, hydrogen fuel)-storage (supercapacitors, batteries) technology. I already contributed to several internationally renowned conferences (33 +) and published more than 37 high-impact factors in internationally peer-reviewed/refereed SCI (E)/SCOPUS journals, several book chapters, patents and the sole principal investigator (PI) for Govt. national projects to lead R&D independently.
I am always open to international scientific research, teaching, industry, and funding collaborations. Thank you very much!
Address: Building E-28, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Yeungnam University, 280 Daehak-ro, Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk 38541, Republic of Korea.
