It was a cross sectional study. There were a total of 267 participants in the study. Systematic random sampling was done. Data were collected by constructed questionnaire and analyzed by percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, chi square and the logistic regression. The data were analyzed by using level of significance at 0.05.Focus group discussion was carried amongst women with and without prolapse to understand their preventive behavior. The results showed that the prevalence of uterine prolapse was 24.7%.Women had a moderate level of knowledge regarding uterine prolapse (51.9%).Logistic regression revealed that knowledge level (p value<0.01) ,attitude level( p value<0.05) and parity(p value<0.05) were significant. Possible Non Government Organization based in Achham, Nepal, which is a sister organization of Possible International Non Government Organization based in New York, USA recognized the increasing health needs in the far western rural hilly parts of Nepal, where extreme poverty and illiteracy was creating a vulnerable picture especially in Achham. Possible (previously named Nyaya Health) started to operate Bayalpata Hospital in 2009 after completing more than one year of free health services in Sanfe-Bagar, Achham, in partnership with the Nepalese Ministry of Health and Population. It supports the idea that free health service has its own challenges but a public-private partnership can thrive while promote equity in health services. Keywords: achham; free health care; nepal; nyaya health; possible.

We analyzed the quality of YouTube videos on prostate cancer screening. Most videos (71.1%) mentioned the potential harms of prostate cancer screening. There was no significant difference in risk-related information between videos published before and after the publication of US Preventive Services Task Force 2012 guidelines for prostate cancer screening. In conclusion, the quality of information of YouTube videos on prostate cancer screening is low and the content is potentially misleading.

As shown by the discussion above, our research generally demonstrates that there is a shortage of knowledge about emergency risk communication, a lack of positive attitude toward it, and a lack of capability of health emergency response staff in Chongqing, China. Ambiguity in responsibility has always been a prominent issue that hinders further improvement in emergency preparedness capacity for public health works in China. Furthermore, emergency risk communication work is in the beginning stages. Therefore, it is urgent to reinforce training to enhance people's awareness of emergency and their response capacity. Our study did have a bias because it relied on a non-validated questionnaire and capacity and knowledge were self-reported, which are closely related to personal feeling. Even so, we believe that this theme will encourage more scholarly engagement in the study of this problem. At the same time, we hope that these findings are helpful in providing the basis for relevant departments to formulate policies and to promote the development of emergency risk communication in the People's Republic of China.

A total of 267 participants were selected by systematic random sampling .The prevalence of uterine prolapse was found to be 24.7%. Analysis of the data using chi square revealed that total pregnancies (p-value=0.005), delivery practice (p-value=.046), age (p value=.016), and knowledge level (p value<0.01) were found to be significantly associated with the status of uterine prolapse. First stage Binary logistic regression revealed that knowledge level (p-value=0.002) and total pregnancies (p value=.049) were significant at p value 0.25. In the final stage of binary logistic regression knowledge level (p value<0.01) and total pregnancies (p-value= .031) remained significant. However, attitude level which was not significant in the bivariate analysis, aft...

Both situations are events that can deeply affect the health, the economy, the environment and the development of the affected populations. The topics covered by the journal include a wide range of issues related to the different dimensions of the phenomena of emergency and disaster, ranging from the study of the risk factors, patterns of frequency and distribution, characteristics, impacts, prevention, preparedness, mitigation, response, humanitarian aid, standards of intervention, operative research, recovery, rehabilitation, resilience and policies, strategies and actions to address these phenomena from a risk reduction approach. In the last thirty years has been substantial progress in the mentioned areas in part thanks to a better scientific knowledge of the subject. The aim of the journal is to contribute to this progress facilitating the dissemination of the results of research in this field. This monographic issue is about Nepal and its disaster risk profile. Nepal's fragile geology and steep topography make it the 20th top most disaster prone country in the world. Nepal is a part of the Himalayan-Ganga system with the system extending about 160-200 kilometers from north to south spanning six geological and climatic belts varying in altitude from about 8000 to just about 60 metres above mean sea level in eastern Nepal. About 83 per cent of Nepal lies within the mountainous region of the country, while the remaining 17 per cent falls in the northern part of the Ganga Basin plain. As a country Nepal is ranked fourth, eleventh and the thirty in terms of relative vulnerability to climate change, earthquake and flood hazards respectively. It is highly prone to high magnitudes of natural hazards such as flood, landslide, earthquake, fire, hailstone, windstorm, thunderbolt, cloudburst, drought, Glacier lake outburst flood (GLOF), avalanches and epidemics.
