Digital Fabrication & CAD in Architecture/Furniture

Can't help but be interested in digifab given my spouse's career direction. Digifab is a pretty broad category but I'm most intrigued by designers who use CNC application with wood. What is especially hard to find are projects using hardwood; it stands out from the ubiquity of materials like acrylic, sheet metal, and plywood.

Okay, it's not architecture OR furniture either, but you should see how cool a sheet of these look when they're all still laid out in the plywood after being routed. Six N Sticks beer caddies!
Modern Cabinet Making from LARKBECK

Setting Moods; the Right Light for Interior Décor
By Atmoss, Sensualscaping Stairs. "The stair was entirely digitally fabricated using an intricate set of simply-cut but highly-detailed flat-pack elements, CNC-carving sheets of MDF and oak directly from our drawings, engraving depths to further split structural strands into ever-finer lineaments, producing elements that perfectly slot together like an architectural jigsaw." Is it cool? yes. Would I fall down this thing every time? Again, yes.

Twisted Hand Spun Chair | Markus Johansson
Hand Spun Chair by Markus Johansson. A simple idea beautifully executed. The blog entry shows the entire process. It's even beautiful when being put together.
Wooden Dodecahedronic Chair | Hiroaki Suzuki
Wooden Dodecahedronic Chair by Hiroaki Suzuki. This too is using planar material, but it's very appealing to me in its symmetry and its angles.

Interlocking tables by Petar Zaharinov. I think this are more interesting than they are beautiful, but I am charmed by the whole design (concept & packaging). They pay homage to traditional japanese wood joinery.

The base of this LOCT table by Bersun Erturk has complex interlocking teak legs. I pinned this hear instead of regular furniture because I assume the designer used a computer program to figure out the geometry.
