When we stress the plant out, it’s going to put all of its energy into ripening that tomato, because inside the tomato are the seeds. Plants’ entire reason for living is to reproduce more plants with seeds. So when it’s under stress by us dialing back the water, it will put all of its energy into ripening those existing tomatoes. I live in the Chicago suburbs, it’s 10 September and we’re about 4 to 5 weeks away from our first average first frost date. I am a Garden Coach located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I do on-site sessions right in your garden if you live 40 miles from Arlington Heights, Illinois. I also do virtual sessions for people that don’t live close to me. I have helped gardeners all over the United States and Canada, with all experience levels, improve their knowledge and skills to achieve the garden of their dreams and do it with their own two hands. From designing your beds to plant selection and pruning, flowers to vegetables, book a session with me on my website at PowersPlants.com. #Tomatoes #Plants #Garden #Gardening #GardeningTipsForBeginners #GardeningLife #ArlingtonHeightsIllinois | Amy Powers

Gracielinda Poulson on Instagram: "If you ask me what my favorite cream rose for cut flowers is, I would undoubtably say Classic Woman. Flower farmers and aspiring farmers take note! This is a fabulous cut rose. Not only does she grow tall and produces long, straight stems, she’s undeniably beautiful. For all those people who want peonies out of season, who needs peonies when there’s Classic Woman!? (She also doesn’t take three years to establish.) Classic Woman is fluffy, huge, smells fantastic and is utterly romantic. She blooms all season long for 3-6 flushes depending on your growing season’s length. I adore this rose and I urge you to grow her if you want roses to bring inside to enjoy. Here’s what you need to know about Classic Woman… 🤍 Classic Woman is the sister to Yves Piaget, o
