O presente artigo apresenta uma revisão crítica e bibliográfica dos conceitos presentes na Biblioteca 2.0 a partir da constatação de Nesta e Mi (2010) e Crawford (2006) que trazem em seu bojo a
baixa aceitação das ferramentas presentes na Web 2.0 pelo público fiel das bibliotecas. O artigo faz ainda uma breve apresentação da situação da Biblioteca 2.0 no contexto brasileiro através da análise de blogs nacionais.

The rise of the Social Web has provided a virtual space for patron participation thus, cases of adoption of social networks have been observed in the Spanish university libraries since 2005 when it published the first scientific papers to follow this movement. Considering the universe of public university libraries in Spain this paper was performed an exploratory research to know the real situation of the model of presence of these libraries in social networks Facebook and Twitter present in this space. This paper investigates a model considering adoption of social networking aspects that involve the creation of profiles for libraries, publishing content, interaction with users, user generated content,  establishing rules of use and style, and measurement and evaluation of social indicators to support the management of university libraries in this type of technological project. Although the survey finds that adoption of social media in University Libraries in Spain shows that there is still a need to provide a user experience that is to afford their participation through comments and other actions that promote the interaction with the librarian.

The collective intelligence presents on the Web 2.0 offers contless perspectives for librarians and users of Library 2.0. This new virtual environment results of a technological development existent on Web 1.0, where the user is an active person that participates through information’s sharing and organization, builting a collective content. With introduction of that new virtual space the present paper draws up a model to work Web 2.0 technologies intending to focus the librarian space as a social and interactionist agent. The results indicates that within a sample of 18 sites of Federal Universities Libraries visited from April to May of 2008, noone of them yet avails some type of technological service in this concept. The technology’s approach still lacks practice as much from the librarians as from the users that are little interacting with them. The model proposed in this paper needs an evaluation by the librarians and system analysts to know if exists a possibility of fast implementation in the current existing space.

As perspectivas oferecidas pela Web 2.0 trazem consigo uma  maior interação da Biblioteca 2.0 com os usuários. A inteligência coletiva presente neste ambiente virtual transpõe as paredes físicas da biblioteca e faz com que os usuários possam interagir, colaborar e construir novas perspectivas para a Biblioteca 2.0. Assim, esta pesquisa pretende analisar a interação do usuário com softwares sociais na Internet, procurando avaliar qual o perfil que o Catálogo Público de Acesso Social on-line (Social OPAC em inglês) da biblioteca necessita para usufruir dessa colaboração entre os usuários de Internet. A metodologia será de cunho qualitativo, através de um estudo das características presentes em vários Social OPAC. Os resultados indicam já existir uma tipologia para os Social OPACs, porém ainda há a necessidade de desenvolvimento de funcionalidades nos sistemas de automação de bibliotecas que fortaleçam os seus OPACs e tornem este espaço das bibliotecas que sejam oferecidos na Internet um local mais interativo e colaborativo.

A rápida adoção de plataformas de aplicativos da Web 2.0 nas Bibliotecas Universitárias na Espanha foi gerada por uma necessidade de maior aproximação com os usuários da Geração Y e, também, pela promoção do espaço da Biblioteca no contexto Europeu de Ensino. O presente trabalho apresenta um panorama da adoção das redes sociais na Biblioteca Universitária da Universidade Carlos III de Madri na Espanha. O recurso metodológico foi composto de entrevistas com os bibliotecários responsáveis pela atualização das redes sociais e da aplicação de questionário no ano de 2012. O resultado da pesquisa sugere que houve uma rápida adoção das ferramentas da Web 2.0 nesta biblioteca universitária espanhola o que ocasionou o uso de diversas plataformas colaborativas e o estabelecimento de normas de uso para os bibliotecários poderem interagir com os estudantes universitários e promover a coleção de livros da biblioteca. The paper observe the context of dynamic provided by the rapid adoption of social media by academic libraries causing a new model of AcademicLibrary 2.0. Then discuss the profile of Librarian 2.0 toward collaborative and innovative reality on the social media that causes it to interact with these media looking for to answer the professional and personal skills that the modern information environment needs. The results show that there is a gap in the study of the profile of the librarian that is working with social media in Brazil, looking for the reality in countries like the U.S., Spain and Canada already has prepared studies on the skills and competencies inherent in this professional profile that has technological and innovative features that point to the strengthening of relations between librarians and users.

The paper analyzes some crowdfunding´s tools and its potential use in public libraries. The methodology consisted of a literature review of books, periodicals and technology sites from 2009 to 2015. The results indicate that there have been cases of public libraries is favoring this type of tool to help in fundraising both in foreign libraries and as Brazilian libraries. It is concluded that users of collaborative perspective to improve library services can be seen as a difference in funds from time increasingly scarce and the struggle for sources of various financing to help the library to remain with your services active.

This paper it is an academic training experience about curricular internship in Crato Municipal Public Library in State of Ceará-Brazil. Consists of understanding of professional activities carried out by librarians that particular workplace. The experience occurred during the period from March to May 2015 when it was held traineeship and observed the functions performed by librarians in a public library in State of Ceará-Brazil. The report highlights the activities carried out by professionals, who are of an administrative nature, as they plan, organize, implement, and control of library management. The experience of the academic training was very timely because it was possible to work with a variety of services and techniques present in Library Science. In addition, we attempted to conduct a study that would allow updating the library management software by understanding the importance of the librarian as an information unit manager, because it will make decisions that will be performed in the library.

Recent studies on the perspectives in the libraries' environments have tended to provide creative spaces known as Makerspaces. Among the innovative services offered by them is the impression of three-dimensional (3D) models that can be used for various purposes in education. In this way, we discuss the availability of 3D printing services in the library space. The methodology was conceived through the collection of articles from brazilian scientific literature and international scientific journals and sites in the area of librarianship and information science that worked on this theme in the period from 2008 to 2017. It was observed that the topic, being new, has not yet been found research on it in the brazilian literature of the area, but in countries like the United States and in the European continent where technology is already present it is possible to see examples of its use.

The information became a valuable asset for organizations, and in computer systems is subject to various types of threats. To ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of this information is necessary to adopt risk management practices. This paper analyzes and compares different methods for calculating the risk, showing that there is diversity of results in the same area, and proposes a methodology for calculating simultaneously applying different methods to obtain more accurate results.

Aflatoxins are mycotoxins that have important toxic effects on human and animal health, even if consumed at low doses. The oral administration of piperine (1.12 mg/kg) during 23 days in rats seemingly interfered with the toxicity of aflatoxins, decreasing hepatic injuries and the leukocyte depletion in experimentally intoxicated animals.

Este trabalho tem por objetivo relatar a experiencia de avaliacao no desenvolvimento de colecoes dos periodicos cientificos disponibilizados na Biblioteca de Ciencias da Saude (BCS), biblioteca setorial do Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Ceara (UFC). Apresenta desde o resgate historico a importância dos periodicos cientificos na area da saude para o publico universitario. Descreve a experiencia no diagnostico deste acervo, o desenvolvimento das acoes planejadas e executadas na reorganizacao e acesso dessa importante fonte de pesquisa aos seus usuarios. Conclui-se que o resgate historico e o levantamento real sobre a situacao deste acervo resultou em uma nova dinâmica de planejamento na organizacao dos periodicos da BCS/UFC. Proporciona tambem uma reflexao acerca da importância sobre a responsabilidade historica, tecnica e social na elaboracao do desenvolvimento de colecoes de periodicos em Bibliotecas universitarias.
