My Bourbon Collection

Bourbon is a type of barrel-aged American whiskey made primarily from corn. To be considered bourbon, the whiskey must meet legal requirements in the US. According to US Trade Legislation, bourbon is a type of whiskey where the "mashbill" consists of at least 51% corn. The rest of the mashbill includes grains such as barley, rye, or wheat. It is aged in new charred oak barrels for a minimum of two years to be designated as "straight bourbon whiskey."
