City Hunter

The story begins in 1983. An explosion by North Korea kills a number of high-ranking officials as the South Korean president and his entourage visit Myanmar. This historic event is called the Rangoon bombing. In retaliation, five high-ranking South Korean officials decide to launch a covert operation to oust North Korean leaders. Unbeknownst to the president, Lee Jin-pyo and Park Muel, two bodyguards from the Blue House (South Korean presidential building), organize a group of 21 special forces to carry out the plan. While the operation is underway in North Korea, five decision-makers are backing off because of fears of the consequences of the attack, including an international crisis and US support for a nuclear attack on South Korea. While the operation in North Korea has been successful and the special forces are swimming towards the submarine that was supposed to bring them back to their country, all the forces are killed by their own snipers so that no information about this secret operation is leaked. While the snipers are killing their own troops, Park Moyol shields his body and saves Lee Jin-pyo's life. After returning to South Korea, Jin Peo finds the residence of five officials and promises to avenge the deaths, especially of his best friend Park Moyol. For this reason, after abducting Park Moyle's baby boy, he escapes from his wife to the Golden Triangle in Southeast Asia. In the Golden Triangle, Lee Jin Peo transforms Lee Eun Sang into a commando, and after the thugs attack their village and is severely wounded, he plots revenge on his son Park Moyol and tells him who his real father was. . Seven years later, after Lee Eun-sung earned his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts, he returned to South Korea to avenge his father, working as an IT expert on the national network's communications team at the Blue House. Lee Jin-pyo warns him not to fall in love and distrust those around him, stating that if he falls in love and gets close to his relatives, he will risk his life and may fail to reach his ultimate goal. In the Blue Palace, Eun Sang meets the personal bodyguard of the president, Kim Nana. Kim Nana is a poor but hardworking girl who is attracted to Lee Eun-sung alone and tries to keep him out of danger. Lee Eun-sung finds his real mother and realizes that his real father is not Park Moyol, but one of the five politicians who is currently the President of South Korea. Choi Eun-chan (President) marries Eun-sung's mother but leaves her for the sake of his family, unaware that Eun-sung's mother is pregnant. Eun Sang's mother plans to commit suicide when Park Moyol rescues him and marries him. Eun-sung realizes that Lee Jin-pyo was aware of this fact and intended to assassinate the President at his hands so that he could die at the hands of his own son. Since Lee Eun Sang does not kill anyone, he reveals all the evidence of his father's illegal actions and wants to be treated fairly, even though he knows the truth. The president is a very compassionate person, but at the same time he always justified the goal to him. He gives the evidence of his illegal activities to Lee Eun Sang, but Eun Sang knows that he did all this for the national interest, but in the end he reveals the evidence ... In the end, Eun Sang does not allow it. Lee Jin Peo kills the president and is killed, and Jin Peo introduces himself as a city hunter and sacrifices his life to protect Eun Sang.
