Memphis Design & Post Modern Revival & Art Deco

My affection for Memphis came from my love of color, Art Deco, Bob Dylan (To Be Stuck Outside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again) and reading Metropolitan Home at a formative age. Not everything pinned on this board is Memphis, especially the art credenzas and chairs, but hey, Memphis Design has never been about keeping rules. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

Lumen Table Lamp - Red/yellow Lacquered Italian Mid-Century Modern Metal, Brass
Lumen, table lamp, red and yellow metal, brass, Italy, 1950s This colorful desk lamp convinces the eye through its well-balanced, organic design. Two shades rest on two brass stems. On the round base in red color a switch can be found. One small shade opening upwards surrounds the lightbulb. A big shade above reflects the light. Not only the form of the two shades but also the way the bass stem ends tapered, the lamp gets an elegant appearance. Both shades can be adjusted in their angle. Please
