166K views · 3.7K reactions | 5 curly hair tips for anyone new to the curly hair world✍🏼➰ 1. Ok, so you’re wondering…what do these curly products actually do?? Well let’s get into it🙂 (take these with a grain of salt since there are so many hybrid curly hair products on the market) ▪️Leave-in Conditioner - this usually provides moisture & hydration back into your hair. I like to think of this as a primer! This doesn’t usually add definition or hold, so you’ll need to pair it with a gel or mousse if you want your curls to last ▪️Curl cream - this is a styler that can add moisture AND hold to your curls. It’s usually a bit thicker and stickier than your typical leave-in conditioner. You can use it as a 1-and-done styler but, I recommend adding gel or mousse on top for extra hold ▪️Gel - the main function of gel is to add hold or definition to your curls. This is what’s going to make them last! Gel typically leaves a crunchy cast (that’s not a bad thing) that you can scrunch out for a softer feel ▪️Mousse - if you want more volume, use mousse! It’s a styler that adds volume & light hold to your curls. If you like very natural looking curls or gel feels too heavy for you, try replacing it with mousse as your last step So now that we understand what each styler does, let’s dive into what order to apply🥇🥈🥉 The order I listed above is actually the same order that I usually apply! (Some people like to add mousse before gel, I don’t think it makes a huge difference either way tbh) These are some other product combos I like to use, it’s all about mixing and matching until you find the combo your curls love💓 Curl cream + Gel Curl Cream + Mousse Leave-in + Gel Leave-in + Curl cream + Mousse Leave-in + Curl cream + Gel #curlyhairtips #curlyhair #hairproducts #haircare #haireducation #curls #howtostylecurlyhair #curlyhairtransformation | Marissa Lanae | Febri Handika · Aesthetic Coffee
63K views · 3.8K reactions | 1. Not Boiling Enough: If you do not boil rosemary water properly, its goodness will not be fully extracted. So make sure to boil it for 20 minutes. 2.Applying on oily scalp: If you’ve oiled your hair, your scalp will be covered in oil, so rosemary water won’t be able to penetrate effectively. 3. Keeping it for too long: If you keep rosemary water in the fridge, you can store it for a maximum of 7 days, and without refrigeration, you can store it for a maximum of 3days. Keeping it for longer increases the chances of rosemary water going bad. 4. Sleeping Right After Applying: After applying rosemary water, avoid sleeping with wet hair. Because sleeping with wet hair increases the chances of dandruff as a damp scalp creates an ideal environment for dandruff-inducing bacteria. So, wait until your scalp is dry before going to bed 💖Bonus Points💖 5.Using Hot Rosemary Water: After making rosemary water, make sure it comes to normal temperature before using it. Applying hot rosemary water can strip off the natural oils from your hair, leading to dryness. 6.Adding rosemary essential oil to rosemary water: Many people add rosemary essential oil to rosemary water. However, water and oil do noting mix together, and when you mix them, rosemary essential oil forms a layer on top. When you spray it, this highly concentrated rosemary essential oil goes directly onto your scalp, which is not good at all ( check yesterday’s reel to know more about this) 7.Not Applying Serum: If you have dry hair, regular use of rosemary water can further dry out your hair. So make sure to apply 1-2 drops of a lightweight oil or serum from mid-length to hair ends daily to prevent dryness. Don’t forget to check out the other reels in this series! 391K views · 32K reactions | First Wash: Removes dirt, excess oil, and product buildup from your scalp and hair. Second Wash: Allows the shampoo to penetrate better, thoroughly cleansing and nourishing the hair. The second wash ensures your scalp is fully clean, allowing for better absorption of conditioning products afterward. However, it may not be necessary for everyone, especially if you wash your hair frequently. | Healthy & Long Hair | healthyhairlong · Original audio

26K views · 920 reactions | How to protect your curls at night using a silk/satin scrunchie and bonnet ⤵️ Put your hair up in a loose bun or ponytail (I only wrap the scrunchie around my hair once, but do whichever is comfortable for you) then cover your hair with your bonnet while putting majority of your hair towards the front of the bonnet so you don’t smash it while you sleep. I like to sleep on a silk pillowcase as well in case the bonnet falls off while I’m sleeping. If you don’t like to wear a bonnet while you sleep you can just put your hair up and sleep on a silk pillowcase! 454K views · 6.5K reactions | making finger rolling easy 🫶🏼💗 finger rolling is my favourite styling technique for a reason!! the results are always to die for 😍if you were struggling with it then I hope this slo-mo tutorial helps 🫶🏼 here’s everything I mentioned in the video (and more) written down👇 ✍️ make sure your hair is fully wet, not damp! if you try this technique on damp hair your hair will be less smooth and likely fail to roll around your fingers (and you’ll get so much more frizz) ✍️ if your hair needs the moisture, add a curl cream or leave-in before finger rolling. this will also make your hair smoother and therefore, easier to style - my favourite is the @imbuecurls conditioning spray ✍️ use your index and middle finger, guiding your fingers down the strand. then wrap your index finger beneath the hair strand and roll up to your roots (the video demo is much easier to understand - it’s very difficult to describe!) ✍️ release your fingers gently from the curl clump, and then if you want more volume, scrunch the excess water from the clump afterward 💦 ✍️ for extra hold, you can scrunch a gel of your choosing into the curl clumps. this will help provide long-lasting definition 🫶🏼 the gel I love for this is the @umbertogiannini curl jelly ✍️ then air dry or diffuse your hair until dry (I diffuse on low heat, medium speed as it takes my hair AGES to air dry!) ✍️ remember that this technique takes practice and you may not get your desired results the first time you try it! but the results are so worth it! that’s all! If you have any questions then leave a comment ✨💌 I hope this helped 🫶🏼🥰 #curlyhair #curlyhairtips #3acurls #curlygirl #curlyhairroutine #curls #curly #curlscurlscurls #curlyhaircare #fingerollling | Mollysringlets

86K views · 8.4K reactions | ✨You Curlies loveeeee diffusing content so here’s an easy diffusing video for anyone who is just starting to diffuse their curls! I’m using the @curlsmith_official Defrizzion Dryer🫶🏻 🌙On low heat, high air, hover diffuse for a few minutes to help the cast start to develop on your hair! 🌙Once the cast has started to develop, increase the heat to medium and scoop sections of hair into the bowl of the diffuser. Gently lift the diffuser to your scalp and hold it there for 5-10 sections. 🌙Repeat this all around your head. Tilting your head from side to side and upside down to get your roots lifted off the scalp. 🌙OPTIONAL: I like to scrunch out the crunch when the hair is 80% dry because it helps speed up my dry time and add a ton of volume. If you don’t want to do this, diffuse your hair until it’s 100% dry and SOTC after! 🌙Shake the hair once it’s almost 100% dry to unclump curl clumps! And then finish off diffusing! ✨I hope this tutorial helps you Curlies out! This is how I’ve been diffusing for YEARS!!! ⁉️Do you like to diffuse or air dry!?
