Replying as a QT thread because this take always shocks people: I'm saying that achieving female liberation requires the abolishment of paternal rights as we now know them. Whether or not a man provides care for a child has nothing to do with their status as a rights-holder (1/9)
over that child. Many women provide care for children they don't have parental rights over. If legal title to the child is the sole reason a man participates in caring for his offspring, he's unfit (and, at risk of spoiling the ending, most of them are unfit). Automatic (2/9)
