The appetite of #Islamophobia & to blame Muslims for everything wrong is so high among the fascist Hindu majority that they want to believe every lie and tricks. They had actually blamed Muslims for #Covid_19 despite it was a proven fact that they had nothing to do with it.
While the world was fighting #Covid_19 Hindu majority took the opportunity to attack own Muslim minority. Muslim hawkers were boycotted and beaten up by Hindus. False videos of Muslims spitting on currency notes were spread. Indian media actively took part in demonizing Muslims
The members of Tabligh Jamaat who had come to India spent almost a year in prison and were falsely accused of spreading #Covid_19 & were exonerated by the Indian courts but Indian Media spread fake news of them walking naked spitting. HINDU majority wants to believe such stories
Despite being proven wrong none of the Hindu leaders nor the media expressed remorse or regret for demonizing Muslims during #Covid_19 they only shifted to finding other stories that could be twisted to blame Muslims. Because Hindu majority wants public humiliation of Muslims
Same pattern emerged in case of Muslim or even Muslim sounding names of criminals. Countless Hindu women are sexually assaulted & murdered each day in most gruesome manner & gets no attention but any case involving Muslims gets top headlines. It’s based on #Islamophobic appetite
Each time a Muslim accused arrest in India for alleged involvement in terror activity it grabs the headlines News debates, hashtags & laws brought in to corner Muslims. A few years later majority of such accused are acquitted & proven innocent yet none apologizes or mentions it.
The fact of the matter is one can blame the Right wing Govt or media but the bottomline is there is immense hatred & desire to punish & humiliate Muslims among the Hindu majority Govt & media is only cashing upon their sentiments. Hindu majority is inherent Fascist #Islamophobic
