After building a few apps on top of #gpt3, realized I was missing toolsets, so built it myself.
It’s called Geppetto.
Here’s how it works 📖
ICYMI, GPT-3 is a powerful AI tool where you provide it text, and it spits back text (poetry, code, etc).
It’s quite magical, but takes a bit to learn. Sometimes getting that initial text takes time. And if you get it right, you want to save the input text (called prompts).
I’ve been helping founders w this a lot recently, so thought I’d share a couple specific strategies I love to use myself 👇
1/ Pick 3 things
Assume that an associate who skimmed your deck in 1 min has to pitch their partner in 30 sec.
Pick 3 things you want them to say - and hammer that point in.
Say it in different ways, imply it, etc.
1 cont./
If 10 people skimmed your deck for 1 min, and you asked them what was exciting about your business, will they all say those three things you want them to remember?
The hardest/most important part of this is figuring out what those three things should be.
When we started, we be benefited greatly from content shared by other VCs like @dunkhippo33.
We wanted to do the same, so analyzed our fundraising data to share with you.
Let’s dig in 👇
As a caveat, every firm’s journey is different, so this is at best a data point for future emerging managers.
As our data will show, we took a long and steady network based approach. 4 mo preraise, 9 mo raise til first close, and 18 mo between first and final.
Total: 31 mo
For context, I started this raise as a solo GP and joined forces w @jessicajackley before our first close. Both with VC experience but neither with attributable track records.

Before I start, apologies in advance for any mistakes or oversimplifications. I also know I'm also missing/forgetting great stuff - please share what you've seen in replies!
I'm building a community of people interested in experimenting with new web3 tools at @pixelbeastsnft. So I've been looking at token-gating tools, but wanted to play around myself.
I decided to play around w the Metamask and OpenSea API two nights ago and... ya know how it goes.
Metamask API gets me your wallet ID, and I ping OpenSea for the assets you own. Once I have that, I know which "collections" you're a part of.
Once you log-in, you'll see a list of "Rooms" you have access to.
