This is a perfect summary of the thinking of the Left.

They're coming for your rights and they don't care about the laws that stand in their way.
If you think that our laws and our Constitution will stop these people from taking your rights away, you're woefully mistaken.

They have to be kept out of power.

We have to win and they have to lose, it's that simple.
Any Republican willing to work with the Left on gun control legislation is out of their f*cking mind and must be primaried ASAP.
