The Failed State
When the Nation State abrogates its responsibility to Private Corporations. When Hospitals , Prisons and Police Services become infested with the spirit of 'Profit at all Cost '. When Government Activities are hidden in Commercial in Confidence Agreements , /2
.. Infra-Structure such as Communications , Water , Power , Transport are prostituted to the bidding of so called Share Holders . When every Utility Bill has to be carefully scrutinized, the cost of living escalates beyond that which is reasonable for the ordinary person and /3
and simple questions meet with a wall of dumb insolence ....
At that point I have to question ......HOW FAR CAN WE TRUST OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS ? We have diluted the criminal justice system by the creation of so many other investigative non performing agencies, ombudsmen etc. /4
that are meant to deal with what are called 'Consumer Issues '. These are not issues, service faults or glitches. Many problems are no less than fraud, deception and theft.
A Thief is a thief, as a turd is a turd ...even if it wears a bow tie. If we want to clean up .../5
...up the world, let’s start cleaning the cess pool we have allowed to be build in our names .
Observations after Battles
Avoid Wars, trade well and fairly so that all parties are satisfied.
Few Wars are fought for any other reason than to seize another’s assets or that which is used to create those things which are valued.
Wars will by their very action lead to /2
wars, this being the nature of men and the nature of those that often seek to lead men. It is best to leave peasants working the fields and supporting their families than to make them into warriors and deprive the Country of those that produce things valued by all.
Wars ../3
...produce nothing and are costly to the public purse and a drain on the peasants, who gain little.
It is better to Trade and Trade well, as this removes the desire to fight wars and yet satisfies the urge to overcome another. In battle overcoming another means death, /4
Might be time to tweak the 10 Commandments - maybe there were some bits missed in the many translations ! 1) Thou shall not make war for profit . 2) Thou shall communicate and leave open all channels of communication between peoples .
/3
3) Though shall not kill in the name of they Creator . Any killing that you do is your killing . 4) Though shall not bear false witness against thy family , thy friends or people that thou hast not met , appear different to you or sinply displease you. 4/
5) Thou shall not covet thy brothers or sisters relationships nor offer false inducements to destroy relationships ! 6) Thou shall not claim to be speaking on behalf of the divine , for even at the best of times thou art human and seriously flawed and judgemental . /5
Dreamers
We are the dreamers of dreams, the spirits that soar at night
Those dreams offering versions of things yet to come
Reflecting on actions and deeds that were done
The dreams that lead forward to a personal light
One where ones spirit or soul takes free flight
/2
Those dreams of green fields and flowers anew
The melting of ice and the mountains that moved
The dreams of warm sunlight that nourishes life
The dreams of touch that sets all aright
The dreamers of dreams, the stories of old to new now unfold
/3
As old as the stars yet as young as the buds
The words seek expression and visions unfold
The dreamers of old meeting the dreamers of the now
Now dreaming or waking or in the between
Not knowing the difference between that which is seen

FAILING STATES - Australia in the long term - a short note
Any or all states ( bodies claiming to govern ) that make legitimate critique or questions regarding matters of 'policy' an act of terrorism are on the verge of becoming failed 'States '.
Lingering in the belief , /2
.., supported by paid advisers and lobby groups , that only certain actions are required to maintain good governance whilst at the same time outsourcing the most vital of matters such as medical care , education and making housing not viable for large portions of the /3
portions of the electorate must seriously cause the observer to ask " What role does government see for itself ?" Failing to be of beneficial service to the community as a whole , disengaging or again replacing service providers with profit driven models calls into question /4
Governments acting in our best interest awarding contracts to companies that then control every little thing that the governed do ? At what point in time does such non governance become a nonsense when enforcement is in the hands /2
.. of 'contractors ' who answer to shareholders and not the electorate ?
When every essential service is sold to meet 'debts' that we are told must be met ?
When essential services remain essential but profit only shareholders who are not accountable and in law hidden 3/
by structures that ensure that there is no transparency ?
Should we aim to become shareholders in our own countries , where every new born is given a number of voting shares that cannot be tampered with ?
When every little act , every use of a utility 4/
Imagine
Imagine this is the last day
The last day before you go away and are no more
That the morning sun will rise again, its warmth denied to you
It matters not the cause of your demise, be it common or brave
It only matters that in some memory you stay, for a little 1/..
...while at least
Imagine this is the last day …….
What would you need to say to those to be left behind?
“I loved you but never found the time to tell you so! “
“I loved you more than words could express and now I am at a loss at what to say …. “
“I am sorry for not 3/..
...making the time to be with you because I chose another path … “
“I wished I had listened more to your voice than impress myself with my own … “
“I loved to see your eyes sparkle in the light, the way your lips curled with your smile … “
So much left unsaid, ..4/..
