I'd definitely #recommend getting some #help with the matter.
It's taken years to be #comfortable in my own skin.

It's a freakin #relief, to cry a tiny bit in a #movie theatre at a moving point in the film, without having to expend all the extra #energy in "did someone see me?"
#exhausting!

and that's just one tiny perk :)

-being able to let someone in, to the simple details in my life, without feeling like I have to be watching for the fall.

This #trait is a #learned one.
Someone #taught us that it's #unsafe to #feel or #share.

They were wrong, or lying, or #victim themselves passing on pain.

You #learn to #choose #better. "This person reminds me of the person who shoved my feelings off a cliff, steer clear of them!"

It does get better.

When you shut it all down.
You not only #shutdown all the bad #feelings and any way that anyone can #hurt you.

You also shut off all the good, and most ways that anyone can offer you any #love.
