From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the evil Autobot. For his heroic counterpart, see Wreck-Gar (G1). For a list of other meanings, see Wreck-Gar (disambiguation). |
- Wreck-Gar is an evil Junkion Autobot from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
An experimental creature fashioned from trash, Wreck-Gar is leader of the Junkions. He was designed to be able to remake dead Transformers in his image and control them, but when he demonstrated the ability to do so also with living Transformers, he was quickly seen as a threat to everyone. After Wreck-Gar began gathering a following of both the willing and the unwilling, both the Autobots and Decepticons made sure he was locked away forever on Paradron.
Wreck-Gar carries both a cerebral inhibitor blaster and an energon-axe. His greatest weakness is his overconfidence.

Years later, when Ultra Magnus was freed from Paradron's prisons by Wheeljack and Tracks, Wreck-Gar was offered freedom as well and a place in his army. Using a stellar spanner, Magnus aimed to travel to another dimension, so Wreck-Gar, Junkheap, and Scrap Iron sent little...snake...things ahead of them through the Stellar Spanner's portal to this new world. These snake...things... corrupted several heroic Autobots in the target dimension into new Junkions. Magnus, Wheeljack, Tracks, and the Junkions traveled through the portal next, making short work of the heroic Autobots who remained.
Wreck-Gar's multiplying masses of Junkions continued to make it difficult for their opponents to succeed, whether they were heroic or evil Decepticons or evil Autobots. Ultimately, Ultra Magnus succeeded in destroying the alternate universe and bringing its Earth to their own universe's Cybertron. Wreck-Gar and his Junkions fled with Magnus at the end of the battle. - Timelines Wreck-Gar is a redeco of Reveal the Shield Deluxe Class Wreck-Gar, transforming into a "junker" dirt bike in Insecticon colors. His tailpipe assembly transforms into a four-bladed battle-axe, which also has a 3 mm clip. Clips on his... well, groin are designed to tab into slots on the bike-mode's seat, meaning he can ride another one of this mold, mimicking the action of The Transformers: The Movie.
- His profile card motto - "We have such sights to show you..." - is a reference to the film Hellraiser.
- This mold was also used to make Junkheap, Scrapheap, and the other Shattered Glass Junkions. It also served as the basis of the non-toy Beast Wars: Uprising incarnation of Crazybolt.
