Comics issues
Is there a reason you've changed naming conventions midstream after moving dozens of articles to what was up until your moving of The War Within's issues a consistent system?--Rosicrucian 00:21, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I screwed up at first, sorry. "Part" or "issue" is not part of the actual title. I will go back and fix, but I definitely think that for the parts of a miniseries, each issue should be the miniseries title, followed by the "part" in parentheses. Reason being, "part", "issue" or "number" is arbitrary and again, not part of the official title. --MistaTee 00:32, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- If that's the case, I think you could probably convince Walky or Suki to have a mass bot edit to get everything in the proper format. Bots can do moves faster than we can (and thus faster than I can revert these :P) because user edits/moves are throttled in rate.--Rosicrucian 00:34, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- Would ya mind backing me up, being that you've been on this wiki longer than I and due to my recent screwup, I'll probably be ignored? ;) --MistaTee 00:38, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- This should get the ball rolling on that.--Rosicrucian 00:47, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Alright, I've got all the War Within issues moved to the same format. They can be bot-moved after that, since they all match.--Rosicrucian 02:39, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
On articles and the moving thereof
Please use the move tool when moving a page instead of copy/pasting the article. That way, the page's edit history is preserved. If you are unable to move the page due to another page being at the new location let either ItsWalky or Suki Brits know, and they'll get it moved. --FortMax 20:09, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
I understand you're probably impatient to get all the comic issues named consistently, but I really wish you hadn't done another batch of moves considering there was no consensus reached yet in the discussion on the community portal talk page. If you want to get things rolling, make a fuss there to draw attention and get more opinions. Don't just move pages around; it's quite possible we're just going to have to move them again, and there is no reason to make all that extra work. --Steve-o 23:11, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
For further reference...
It's James Raiz, not Riaz. --Detour 11:47, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up... --MistaTee 13:17, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
Hearts of Steel
Some of the "corrections" you're making to the Hearts of Steel articles are actually wrong. For example, if you look in the TPB, you will see that it's "Insectrain", not "Insectitrain". Also, the weird spelling of "eklectrical" was exactly the way it appears in the comic.
I welcome correction when I'm wrong. Please don't do it when I'm right. JW 01:43, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry man, was doing in from memory while at work. That's why we're all here to catch stuff like this. --MistaTee 02:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Double Redirects
If the urge should strike you, you might check out the Special:DoubleRedirects page. I gather a lot of those are due to pages you've moved? I'll probably get to them eventually, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention, since you're pretty good about fixing stuff like that up. JW 17:39, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
- No need. I just knocked 'em out.--RosicrucianTalk 18:21, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
With your recent slew of moves, I'm going to point you in the direction of the Special:DoubleRedirects page again . . . JW 01:39, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Character box name listing
Hi, why did you list the names in the character box alphabetically? We only do the listing alphabetically if we have no intention of noting their order of appearance (like in the Movie article). As it stands, listing the names alphabetically forces one to search for the number rather than seeing who appeared in what order in a logical manner. --FFN 01:09, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, I wasn't aware of that standard. Yet another reason for these things to be added to the FAQ :) --MistaTee 20:26, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
Factions and history
Actually, unless I'm mistaken Jhiaxus and Nova Prime just predate the Decepticons, not the Autobots. The Prime, as well as the government of Cybertron, are all Autobots to my knowledge. That seems to be how IDW is playing it.--RosicrucianTalk 06:24, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- Take a look at the Galvatron Spotlight. I don't have it in front of me, but he said something like "before factions" referring to the time when he, Nova and Jhiaxus disappeared on the Ark-1. So none of the Dead Universe folks would be aligned with any faction. --MistaTee 15:31, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'm mainly judging by the fact that we've termed Nova Prime an Autobot on this wiki, and have had a few edits keeping that the case. Bear in mind that being "before factions" could easily just mean that Galvatron predates the Cybertronian civil war, and thus existed when the Autobots were the dominant (and perhaps only) faction.--RosicrucianTalk 15:50, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Comic image upload credits
Regarding those covers you've uploaded: According to our current image standards, we've stopped saying 'art by' (insert name of penciller), since it disregards the work of the inkers and colourists. We now list all known artists individually, and we don't know who inked it or who coloured it, we leave a question mark so that one day it may be filled. This applies even if the issues themselves say 'Art by'. Lately I've been using this template as created by Jackpot.

Hey, I just wanted to thank you for doing the gallery on Dinobot Hunt. (And possibly elsewhere, I just noticed it on Dinobot Hunt.) -Derik 22:01, 7 June 2008 (UTC)City of Fear covers
Appreciate your corrections and captions, but FYI, even after you changed the image names, four of the six cover images are showing up blank, at least when I view the page via Firefox on an iMac (just in case that's significant).--Apcog 00:57, 6 April 2009 (EDT)
- Thanks. Yes, I'm afraid I don't have all the covers yet to upload so some are placeholders. I bet I forgot the {{picsneeded}} tag didn't I? ;) --MistaTee 04:41, 6 April 2009 (EDT)
- (I'm transferring your response to this page for ease of following the conversation.) Ah, that would explain it. I'm used to missing images just being red links, and I didn't consider that you'd change a file name in advance when you didn't have the actual file on hand yet.--Apcog 07:02, 6 April 2009 (EDT)
WFC
I've checked. Four times. It's Starscream. Skywarp never appears in the trailer. It's just dark lighting. User:Eire
I don't think it's Starscream, I think it's Skywarp- he's gray and purple, which is not SS's colourscheme in WfC. User:Cyberduck
The Pri¢e of Life! UK cover
You probably don't remember, but I'm trying to work out what the source is on the credit for Frances Farmer on the UK cover of "The Pri¢e of Life!". According to the history, you added it in March '08. Do you recall where you go the info from? --abates 20:34, 3 November 2010 (EDT)
Watch it
You're being unnecessarily aggressive, especially because the anon IP was right. Watch it. --M Sipher 16:16, 22 February 2012 (EST)
Image names
Nice work on comprehensively unifying image file names. But remember you should tag all the old file pages for deletion. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 14:09, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
- Gotcha. I'll do that going forward. Should they be "speedy" delete tagged? --MistaTee (talk) 16:09, 18 October 2017 (EDT)
- "Speedy" is usually for new articles that are suddenly moved to a correct title, but I suppose it could go either way. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 00:45, 4 November 2017 (EDT)
Hachette Definitive Collection covers
I have several Definitive Collection cover images, but I don't know all the artists for the bipartite art. Would you be good at identifying if I uploaded them? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 18:29, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Sure I can give it a shot. Lemme know the ones you upload and I'll have a look. MistaTee (talk) 21:37, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Alright, I have uploaded many that you can take a look at. And by the way, your user talk page is showing up in the category. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 17:16, 23 September 2018 (EDT)
- Yeah , it's in that category cuz I'm testing a template I made for Hachette books. Isn't there a sandbox to use for that somewhere? Oh and thanks for the uploads. MistaTee (talk) 22:59, 23 September 2018 (EDT)

Umm... I think you may need to go over the descriptions for File:DefinitiveG1Collection v53.jpg & File:DefinitiveG1Collection_v55.jpg again... - Mammalian Verisimilitude (talk) 15:30, 31 December 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, just copied them over cuz I was not on my PC at the time. Info is now up to date. Do you collect the series? --MistaTee (talk) 17:14, 1 January 2019 (EST)
Hey, I don't know if Hachette has used the Dreamwave MTMTE profile for Getaway or Banzai-Tron at all, but I can tell you that they were done by Dan Khanna, rather than the usual Guido or Figueroa. Escargon (talk) 19:35, 22 September 2019 (EDT)
Some advice
The easiest way for me to identify unknown artists (for more modern books) is by looking at the way they drawn hands and faces. For example, Don's faces kinda all have the same sort of mouth shape and blocky fingers, where as Guido Guidi's faces look a fair bit softer and often have rounder fingers. Escargon (talk) 19:03, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
- Good point, and as far as the Hachette releases, the main art seems to come from following sources: 1) the Dreamwave MTMTE profiles (usually Don); 2) the Shout Factory G1 box and internal art (Don); 3) Guido's early samples for IDW that ended up as RI covers for Infiltration (and others). I just like to be 100% sure before listing as such, cuz it's a pain to go back later and change it after it's listed on a bunch of pages. MistaTee (talk) 21:15, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
Thanks!
I just wanted to leave you some thanks for putting together the Rescue Bots Academy toyline page. It's been sorely needed! --abates (talk) 16:37, 5 August 2019 (EDT)
- You're welcome. Unfortunately, information on wave numbers and toy sightings has been scant, even from the usual sources. Hopefully those in the know can fix that. --MistaTee (talk) 17:35, 5 August 2019 (EDT)
Some further reprints
Wanted to point out some further reprints and stuff for Marvel that's not been added yet onto the individual pages: The Transformers Classics Compendium, Vol. 1, and the Hero-X releases of The Transformers Classics. Escargon (talk) 11:41, 15 September 2019 (EDT)
- The Classics Compendium should definitely be added. Do we put foreign (specifically Japanese) reprints on individual issues? How many Japanese releases of Marvel are there? Or IDW or Dreamwave for that matter. This could end up being a huge project potentially. --MistaTee (talk) 21:09, 21 October 2019 (EDT)
