If you haven't yet contributed anything, we'd really rather you didn't simply change jokes or add new ones without adding actual content. This also holds true for removing captions whole-hog or replacing them with "information" that really isn't. Remember, we're meant to be informative first, funny second. I realize that, and I'm trying to be as delicate about this as I can since you're new, but there are some editors here who are way less patient about this stuff than I am. It wouldn't hurt to give our Help page a read to familiarize yourselves with our rules and get some tips on how to get the most out of the wiki. Again, we're not a social media site. And having SG Ravage (who was created by one of the wiki's founders) as a mascot should not be taken as an indicator of recommended behavior any more than the idea that Bugs Bunny as WB's mascot means they want people to drop anvils on each other. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 15:48, 3 February 2019 (EST)

Metalstar, it sounds like you're basing your idea of what a wiki is like on Wikia/Fandom wikis. Because TFWiki is independently operated, we run it like a wiki is supposed to be run, rather than cramming it full of "social features" to try and drive ad impressions. As people have already tried to tell you, they are many, many places on the internet where you can chat about Transformers to your heart's content. This wiki is not one of them, and that's not going to change any time soon. If you keep ignoring this, sooner or later you're going to end up being banned by me or another admin. We've been doing that. We've linked you to our help and rules pages showing you how to edit and what not to do. We've told you what our article talk pages are actually used for. We've pointed out places you can go if you want to discuss Transformers in a more general sense. Image captions

As noted on the template that's already been posted further up this very talk page (and covered in more detail on policy page that the template links to), it's against TFWiki etiquette to go around writing image caption jokes if you haven't put some time in adding factual content to the wiki. If you're adding a new image that you've uploaded, by all means feel free to caption it, but finding existing images to add jokes shouldn't be something you're doing until you've spent more time contributing to the wiki. Right now, the overwhelming majority of your activity is posting on talk pages. FYI, when people tell you stuff like this, they're not "attacking" you, they're just telling you how things work here, so that you don't keep getting edits reverted. Generally speaking, we don't take pictures from other sites. We use 1) Hasbro/Takara stock photos or 2) photos that were taken by the person uploading them. --Khajidha (talk) 12:44, 12 February 2019 (EST)
