Tempest appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

Pulsar and Tempest were both members of Strike Force Alpha. They saw to the defense of Iacon under Optimus Prime. He was ordered to make sure the survivors of Gamma Squad got taken to Ratchet for repairs. And There Shall Come...a Leader!

Tempest was among the new Autobot recruits lined up to be inspected by Optimus Prime in the early days of the War. He stood between Brainstorm and Motorhead. Old Ways

One of three guards stationed at a Titan Net subsidiary hub, Tempest was the second to fall to a lightning raid by Team Stream, having his head disintegrated by the concentrated shots of four guns. It is not possible to tell for certain which of the pictured Autobots is Tempest, but the placement of the text balloons weakly seems to imply that "Big Yellow" is Pulsar, as does Optimus reminding him to provide covering fire for gunners (the blue and white robot was down among the gunners). Later IDW comics would depict Tempest in designs based on the blue and white bot.
