Cyberverse cartoon

Voice actor: Billy Bob Thompson (English), Gerald Schaale (German)

At some point following Cybertron's restoration, Teknicus was forced by Affluous to build a device that would divide and segregate the Monsterbots, with Affluous' loyalists becoming "Energon Masters" and those he deemed unworthy being branded as "bugs". Due to becoming one such "bug", and because his usefulness was at an end, Teknicus was thrown into Affluous' dungeon.

Over time, Teknicus would receive cellmates in the form of Energon Masters paralyzed by what Affluous referred to as "the shocks". By the time the Autobot Bumblebee was incarcerated, Teknicus explained the truth behind both the shocks and Affluous' segregation of the Monsterbots. Bumblebee then powered up with multiverse energy to initiate a jailbreak, freeing Teknicus. Arriving at the edge of the city, Bumblebee explained that the Energon Masters and bugs were the same. When Affluous rejected the notion, Teknicus confessed his involvement in Affluous' rise to power. When Bumblebee destroyed the machine, Teknicus transformed into a robot mode similar to the Energon Masters'. The Monsterbots' celebrated their reunion as a beast-mode Affluous fled in defeat. • Repugnus Revenge (Multi-pack, 2020)
Part of a Target-exclusive multipack under the cross-series "Cybertronian Villains" branding, this bright-green -colored Pesticon transforms from robot to bug-monster in a few short, simple steps. His robot-mode fists are compatible with 3 mm post accessories.
While the toy is not specifically branded as a Tiny Turbo Changer, it totally is one. Speaking of branding oddities, no, we don't know why the toy has a Decepticon symbol molded onto it.
This pack of Pesticons also included a small red Pesticon and blue Pesticon, as well as a larger green "Repugnus".
