Do you guys think I should bother scanning in that image of angry Cyclonus brooding in a chair from TF: Genesis? Not that I don't like the Pioneer DVD image (I uploaded that one myself) but that other pic is pretty sweet. Worth the effort? --DrSpengler 23:43, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- I love Cyclonus' box art. I hate you. And someday I will destroy you utterly. -LV 01:51, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Stuff
Oh Good, I was wonderign if Cyclonus had an article big enough to support all these pictures. The answer is apparently 'yes' Nice work McFeely -Derik 21:52, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
I was under the impression that Cyclonus, Scourge, and Galvatron were all considered to be the heralds of Unicron. Perhaps they weren't specifically named as such in the movie, but I thought that it was sort of a given that that's what they were. - Dark T Zeratul 10:44, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- We're supposed to stick with canonical information, not retarded fan terms years after the fact that aren't accurate to the actual meaning of the word. Singularity 14:19, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think, truthfully, in the movie Galvatron is the only herald, and the rest are his "troops to command." --ItsWalky 14:50, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- I still don't see how the movie guys are heralds. They weren't sent somewhere to prepare for Unicron's arrival; all Unicorn had them do was try to destroy the Matrix. Moot point, I guess, since the G1 Galvatron in the Armada comics actually was a herald. Singularity 17:03, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- For the record, Cyclonus is now included on the Heralds of Unicron page. - Dark T Zeratul 21:22, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

Who is Cyclonus?
- This section is too long.
- It doesn't mention the HoC Cyclonus spec, which seems to present a sane perspective on the issue. (quoted here because Neale was X-no-archiving because he doesn't understand copyright law.) -Derik 23:42, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
It could probably be pared down a little, but in my opinion the section should be moderately long. Anyway, the HoC thing... so... what, it just ambiguously says he's made from dead guys? Like the TFU entry apparently does? Sure, that could stand to be mentioned. --Steve-o 04:41, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- The dead guys, plural, struck me as the relevant part here. This entire section hand-wrings over Skywarp-or-Bombshell, but we have a source explicitly saying he's not made from any single Decepticon. -Derik 18:04, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- We've had a source like that since 1986. It's the TFU profile, as noted already. -LV 20:27, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- *pretends he was aware of this.* I still feel the plurality issue if under-represented (being presented as if it was part of one of many viewpoints- not the only word of cannon in a vacuum.) -Derik 21:59, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
I just moved some text over from Cyclonus's Armada. I am curious about the statement here -- and it was also in the other article -- that there are "three" Sweeps shown through the movie. I know that in Season 3 there were way more than that. Did we really never get above three in the film itself? Has somebody carefully gone through and made sure that only three appear, or is this something where one time some random fan saw a shot that had three and was like, "oh hey the armada *became* a sweep" and then everybody just repeats that until the end of time? Also, would it be dumb to split this section off into its own page so it won't bog down the main Cyclonus article? --Steve-o 23:33, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
This wiki talks a lot about "Cyclonus is Skywarp" or "Cyclonus is Bombshell". I think we people who believe Cyclonus is his own guy deserve the same amount of space as the other theories. However, each time you see Cyclonus and Skywarp together, you say "then Cyclonus is Bombshell". That's not fair play. I'm DAMartin, but I don't remember if I'm logged in or not.
While we're citing semi-official sources it might be worth noting that Call Of The Future unambiguously states that Bombshell was turned into Cyclonus - Diem
Break off into subarticle?
I think we should make the "Who is Cyclonus?" section its own subarticle of Cyclonus (G1), and leave a "Main article at" thing there for folks to follow. I'd just go ahead and do it, but maybe someone really cares that the section is in the body of the article. --ItsWalky 23:44, 20 November 2010 (EST)
- I agree, at least insofar as it doesn't feel right to put it in the cartoon section because it draws from sources like the Universe comic and toy bios. - Jackpot 11:21, 9 March 2011 (EST)
"Armada Decepticon" sticker
The obvious answer now
He's Lugnut. Lugnut was at the Battle of Autobot City and was super-loyal. Obviously he was just thrown out of Astrotrain when nobody was looking and was turned into Cyclonus off-camera. PROBLEM SOLVED THANKS HOOP. -hx 13:14, 9 March 2011 (EST)
Bombshell description
This comes from the comparison of Bombshell and Skywarp's personalities:
- Other aspects of the argument make claims regarding the personalities of the characters; for example, Bombshell held a high-ranking position within Insecticons (alternating leadership with Shrapnel)...
So, what, Bombshell and Shrapnel just took turns bossing Kickback around? -- SFH 23:43, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- I thought that sounded strange when I read it. I've always considered Shrapnel the de facto leader behind the Insecticons... I don't really recall Bombshell ever calling the shots. Can someone point me to some episodes /comic issues where I can see this? Rose.T 16:34, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
- The insecticons are hardly loyal to 'tron. Seekers were more notable, while insecticons were mostly background characters, even to the point where they had to clone theirselves to even be noticed,it would not make sense for a seeker to become a clone of the character that actually was part of a clone army. just my opinion though. Toy Fair notes?
I've just noticed that in the Toy Fair 1986 catalogue Cyclonus has not only swapped names with Scourge but also he has a different colour scheme, one which resembles his earliest appearances in the UK comic. Anyone know if the names are just a catalogue screw-up or part of the original plans? Timrollpickering 20:15, 13 May 2010 (EDT)
Rodimus vs Cyclonus Comic
Is the Battle in Space comic that came free with the Rodimus and Cyclonus 2 pack canon? It is not mentioned on this page at all. Shouldn't we at least say that Cyclonus was supposed to get troops but they never "materialized." Or because it is just a pack-in comic to sell toys and they change many models of the characters, we don't mention it on this page?MrLordGalvatron 11:44, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- It's canon, just not added to this page yet. It would get its own subsection just like it does on Hot Rod's page. --ItsWalky 11:45, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
- Should I add it on, or wait for someone else. I am not sure I can write it as good as someone else.MrLordGalvatron 12:00, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
Horn issue
Since I'm missing issue #1, can somebody tell me how Cyclonus lost his horn because the IDW timeline doesn't state the reason? Ed 17:04, 6 November 2012 (EST)
- Yeah, because the IDW timeline page totally should point out every minor injury suffered by every character. Have you even tried reading Cyclonus's article to find out? --Detour 17:18, 6 November 2012 (EST)
- Ok I've found out. He got it during a brawl with Whirl. Ed 17:23, 6 November 2012 (EST)
Main image
Apparently since we have to get Saix's approval for everything that happens on the wiki now, I'd like to nominate this as the main image because it doesn't have an ugly black background. Grum (talk) 18:53, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
- Is this really necessary? Seconded. --Giggidy (talk) 18:59, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
- Sorry for committing the sin of disagreeing with you changing perfectly fine main images on a whim. Saix (talk) 19:30, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah. That main image was perfectly fine, and this seems like a lateral move on image quality alone. That said, another factor into what we choose for the main images is VARIETY, and so swapping out a perfectly good image from a less-utilized source for Yet Another Damn MTMTE Profiles Image tilts that balance back the other way. --ItsWalky (talk) 21:23, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
- And yes, if something has been the main image for years, and you're not an admin, then darn right you take it to the talk page first before you change it. --ItsWalky (talk) 21:25, 19 September 2015 (EDT)

Okay, now that I'm cooler I want to apologize; I had a really bad evening and I just kind of used the site as an outlet for everything. I'm very sorry about that. Grum (talk) 22:20, 19 September 2015 (EDT)
Transformers: Earth Wars
"Ability: Bombing run: Drops 12 bombs in a line across the target dealing damage." Is this the first usage of his "incendiary bomb rack" in fiction? --Khajidha (talk) 19:07, 8 December 2016 (EST)
