Sweep No. 4 was (presumably) created by Unicron from the remains of fallen Decepticon warriors, following the Decepticons' failed assault on Autobot City. The Transformers: The Movie

Sweep No. 4 joined the other Decepticons in an attack on Outpost One. After they destroyed the station, they encountered Blurr and Wheelie, eventually fighting them in Jupiter's atmosphere. No. 4 got shot in the face by Wheelie, crippling his guidance system; out of control, he fell down through the planet's atmosphere, screaming for Galvatron to aid him all the while, but the Decepticon leader merely entreated him to "meet his end with dignity" since he couldn't stand his whining. When the other Sweeps did an introductory lineup, Galvatron wondered about No. 4's absence, which prompted the Sweep's ghost to appear. The phantom sent the Decepticon leader fleeing in fear. LG-26 Scourge Prologue

Legends "Sweeps" is a redeco/retool of Titans Return Titan Master Fracas, with a new up-swept mustache face. As a Headmaster, the Sweep can transform into a head compatible with Scourge or any other Deluxe-or-larger Titans Return-style figure, though it is intended for use with LG26 Scourge's transtector, to which it is almost color-matched, though the white plastic isn't exactly the same tone. The head-mounted blaster thingy is designed to pop up for head mode, and retract into a marginally less embarrassing position for robot mode.
The Sweep was bundled with Sharktron, a redeco of Titans Return Gnaw.

Notes

  • No. 4 is identified as the dead Sweep due to "four" (四 shi) being a homophone of "death" (死 shi) in Japanese.
  • This Sweep is identified as "Doomed Sweep" in the "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 3" dialogue script.
  • The toy listed above is the only one associated in fiction with this particular Sweep. For other toys of the Sweeps as a group, see Sweep (G1)#Toys.
