When Soundwave returned to Earth and met Starscream, he left Strike Team Ursa on the Longshot for later missions. Convergence chapter 4
Soundwave later dispatched Strike Team Ursa to
Wendover,
Utah to investigate the
mysterious organization that had resurrected
Ravage; he also sent
Buzzsaw to observe them. They discovered a hidden base beneath a garbage dump, but fled after they accidentally activated its self-destruct mechanism. While fleeing, they were intercepted by the
Autobots Ironhide and
Sideswipe. Brakedown and Reverb were destroyed in short order, prompting Dirt Boss to surrender...or at least pretend to do so, allowing Soundwave and Ravage to swoop in and attack the Autobots while Dirt Boss escaped.
