"I doubt he gave you the stink eye. That's just the way his face looks, you know?"

Stinkeye Stapleton is the peacekeeper amongst the BotBots. This stapler turned Transformer is a tough-as-nails (tough-as-staples?) bot that works to hold everyone together. Get on his bad side though, and he'll give you the stink eye!

BotBots Adventure

Lost Bots!

One day while Stinkeye Stapleton and Dimlit were playing, they saw that S'up Dawg and Hawt Diggity had a lot in common. He accompanied Dimlit when he decided to set out from Lost and Found with a group of other Lost Bots to find where they all belonged. While on the quest Stinkeye Stapleton noticed a very organized store and thought it might be the perfect place for him. Unfortunately his no mess attitude scared Ms. Take. Feeling bad, he left. He later returned with the other Lost Bots to Lost and Found, realizing they all belonged together there. Lost Bots!

BotBots

  • Toilet Troop (5-pack, 2018)
Part of the first Series of BotBots, Stinkeye Stapleton is a 1-inch tall robot who turns into a stapler.
He was available in one of the "Toilet Troop" themed 5-packs, along with King Toots, Shredder Jack, Sudsbeard, and Waddlepop.
This mold was also used to make Mr. Groomwell and Steve From Accounting.
This pack is a "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots.

  • Greaser Gang (8-pack, 2018)
Stinkeye was also available in one of the "Greaser Gang" themed 8-packs, along with Arctic Guzzlerush, Cuddletooth, Dr. Moggly, Duderoni, Frohawk, Hawt Diggity, and Lolly Licks.
This pack is a "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots. Yeah, you get (at least) two of him.

  • Jock Squad (8-pack, 2018)
Stinkeye was also also available in one of the "Jock Squad" themed 8-packs, along with Angry Cheese#ToysAngry Cheese, Arctic Guzzlerush, Grit Sandwood, King Toots, Lolly Licks, Pucksie, and Screen Fiend.
This pack is a possible "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots. Grit Sandwood is the only BotBot needed in that pack, but he also appears in another Jock Squad pack where he is also the only BotBot needed in that pack. Yeah it means a bunch of redundant Bots either way, sorry!

Notes

  • As revealed in the BotBots Official Sticker Book, Stinkeye Stapleton is a lost member of the Backpack Bunch.
  • Original concept art for Stinkeye Stapleton was revealed by Kevin Raganit on his Twitter account. [1] The 2015 date on the concept art makes Stinkeye one of the first known BotBots designed.
  • The idea of a Transformer with a stapler alternate mode was previously explored in an April Fools' Day prank by the Transformers Facebook page, which featured the Deskcepticon "Stapletron".
