After Grimlock returned to Cybertron having inexplicably cured himself of Nucleon, Hot Rod had him locked up in Bastion-five, then called Siren, Grapple, Perceptor, and Hosehead to the Senate Forum where he charged them with looking after the Dinobot commander while he was away beneath the surface of the planet. Once Grimlock had escaped and Cybertron was mostly under the control of Scorponok's Gene Key, Grapple, Siren, and Hosehead met up with Crosshairs at the Senate Forum and as the only unconverted Autobots, escaped through a secret passage to form a resistance. Natural Selection, Part Three
