Yeah! Come get some, you frickin' wuss!

Ransack is a miniature delinquent. Along with Backtrack, the two Cyclones delight in causing mischief as well as show disinterest in big, threatening bounty hunters and even other Mini-Cons. Now he's working with Overload, and eager to cause more destruction with his master. Sometimes, Ransack works with Crazybolt.

Long ago, Ransack attacked a young Slipstream in Serenity Yard, stealing from him a ball bearing. The Tragedy of Slipstream Ransack was eventually incarcerated onboard the Alchemor when it crash-landed on Earth, and was freed from his stasis pod when Fracture had his own Mini-Con companions tear it open. He helped his cellmate podmate knock out Fracture before both of them rolled away, giggling maniacally all the while. Knock, Knock! Bumblebee and his team soon thereafter detected Backtrack and Ransack's signals. The Power of Dibs

Backtrack and Ransack resisted further attempts on Fracture's part to recruit them, knocking the Decepticon into unconsciousness before provoking Airazor and Divebomb into chasing them. Back and Forth Their pursuers were intercepted by the Autobot Mini-Cons Jetstorm and Slipstream, who began to squabble with their Decepticon counterparts over which had the best claim to the Cyclones. Ransack and Backtrack quickly lost interest, becoming mesmerized by some nearby rocks. But when Slipstream was knocked into a rock mound they had built, the Cyclones turned their firepower on all four of the other Mini-Cons, forcing them to take cover. A Level Playing Field When the aligned Mini-Cons emerged from their hiding place, they managed to work together long enough to defeat both Backtrack and Ransack. The Cyclones were then taken back to the Autobot base to be put in stasis lock. Two Plus Two Equals More

Freed from their stasis pods by a fight with Overload, Ransack and Backtrack spied on the rest of the battle. They tailed the Decepticon who was heading for Crown City, and teamed up with him. Overloaded, Part 1 The pair hung out with Overload until Bumblebee convinced them that they had nothing in common with the Decepticon, and they happily started hitting him with pots and pans. Bumblebee was later able to lead them back to the scrapyard. Overloaded, Part 2 When Overload escaped the scrapyard after being freed by Steeljaw, Backtrack and Ransack were left behind by their old master. Misdirection

Ransack's stasis pod was later taken back to Cybertron by Optimus Prime, Windblade and Ratchet. Decepticon Island (Part 2)

Robots in Disguise (2015)

Rid Mini-Con Ransack.jpg
  • Ransack (Mini-Con, 2016)
  • Accessories: Armor sprue (Helmet, jetpack, left & right blasters, 4 leg-claws)
Part of the fourth wave of Robots in Disguise individually-packaged Mini-Cons, Ransack transforms from cannonball to quadrupedal robot in a few simple steps. He comes with a large armor sprue, containing armor pieces that can attach to him in both modes; he is capable of transforming between his modes, and being used in Cyclone-style launchers, without the need to remove the armor.
As a Cyclone Mini-Con, Ransack's cannonball mode is designed to be used in the launchers of the larger Deployer toys Overload and Crazybolt.
This wave was largely skipped by larger brick-and-mortar stores in the US, but began to filter out through discount chains like Marshalls and Five Below by the 2016 holiday season.
This mold was also used to make Backtrack.

  • Crazybolt with Micron Ransack (Micron Shooter, 2016)
  • Release date: May 28, 2016
  • ID number: TAV47
  • Accessories: Armor sprue (Helmet, jetpack, left & right blasters, 4 leg-claws)
Part of the fifteenth wave of TakaraTomy's Adventure line, this more thoroughly-deco'd Ransack was only available packed in with Crazybolt. This version of Ransack is slightly retooled, as were all the Microns from Wave 14 onward, adding a rather intrusive 5 mm post to his back so he can be... used as a hand-held cudgel? Who knows.
