- Known designers: Masakatsu Saito (concept artist)
- Planned as a fourth-wave Go-Bot item for Generation 2, this character transforms into a purple Mercedes-Benz SL 500 sport coupé. The figure has through-axle construction to allow for super-fast rolling in car mode.
- Ultimately, it and its entire wave did not reach fruition as Generation 2 was canceled.
- Like Hound, this mold was never revived for use as a Spychanger in the 2001 Robots in Disguise line, having been lost at some point. At BotCon 2002, Hasbro employee Andrew Frankel said that even with the then-recent release of the other four "lost" molds, there had never been searches for the molds for the final two at that point in time. However, this is an odd claim, as these six Go-Bots appear to be gang-molded like the prior six molds were with each other, with these two "lost" bots sharing plastic colors with the other four.
Notes
- Given the complete lack of character information for this toy, we opt to bestow the placeholder nickname of "Purple Mercedes" in parallel with "Black Viper", another unmade Go-Bot who remains an enigma.
- Your guess is as good as ours for which faction this character would have belonged to.
- "Purple Mercedes" likely had package art commissioned by Hasbro, but to date no samples have publicly surfaced. Consequently, said artwork did not get to appear in Legacy: The Art of Transformers Packaging as Rumble, "4X", "911", and Hound did (though not "Black Viper", who was uncovered too late to appear in the book).
