Due to the time travel machinations of Jaguar in Primax 785.06 Alpha, temporal interference struck the shuttle carrying the victorious Maximals home from the Beast Wars. The Alternity were able to restore the proper history, but this resulted in two copies of the shuttle coming into existence. One went on-course to return to Cybertron, where its crew would participate in the Spark War while the other was shunted into Primax 903.0 Beta, where Unicron destroyed the ship and scattered its crew into transwarp space. Megatron ended up in Viron 102.0 Beta, Blackarachnia was enslaved by Unicron, and the Alternity shepherded Optimus Primal, Rhinox, Rattrap, and Silverbolt to Viron 102.0 Beta to stop Megatron.
