Nae king! Nae quin! Nae laird! Nae master! We willna be fooled again!

Menasor is filled with rage. He finds his planet's laws stifling and stupid, and believes his people are destined for greater things than merely building with no seeming goal in mind other than to continue building. On top of that, being one of the younger Gigantions, he feels that he's simply not given the respect he deserves from Metroplex and the others. As such, he's joined up with Megatron and his Decepticons, who have promised much to the disillusioned worker.

Menasor is always accompanied by his Mini-Con partner Heavy Load, who doesn't seem to share Menasor's anger, and sometimes tries to set the rebellious machine straight.

Things have got to change around here, and if you stand in the way of progress, you're gonna go extinct!

Menasor was contacted by Megatron when he and the Decepticons first arrived on Gigantion. Intrigued by Megatron's desire to explore the Giant Planet's older and abandoned sectors for the Cyber Planet Key, Menasor allowed himself to be talked into joining Megatron's quest. The Decepticons' goals aligned perfectly with Menasor's own interest in delving into the past of his world, and it was just what he needed to stick it to Metroplex a little. Sure enough, Metroplex allied himself with the Autobots and tried to stop Menasor from breaking open the blockade leading to Gigantion's older sectors. Menasor fought against Override and Evac until Megatron was injured in battle and the Decepticons were forced to retreat. Giant

A strong gust of air from behind brought the Decepticons to an early end.

Menasor and the Decepticons attended to Megatron until his Aura of Fury built to the point where he reformatted himself out of pure rage, becoming Galvatron. Fury Later on, he observed the antics of Galvatron's band of merry men with some amusement before heading out on the search for the Cyber Planet Key. City Working with Galvatron personally during their exploration, Menasor and his new leader crossed paths with the Cybertron Defense Team. Galvatron allowed Menasor to test himself against the Autobots first. The Gigantian towered over his opponents and pushed them hard in battle, but he ultimately fell before the triple Cyber Key Power of their Triangle Attack. Galvatron defeated the Autobots by himself after that, and carried Menasor from the battlefield. Scourge

As the Autobots and Decepticons both reached Gigantion's central core, Menasor finally had the chance to pit himself against Metroplex personally. Their fight was fierce but brief, coming to an abrupt conclusion once Heavy Load ejected himself from Menasor's chest. The Mini-Con joined Metroplex's partner Drill Bit in standing between the two combatants, waving off any further fighting. The wee folk's actions gave the Giants a chance to reconsider their conflict, and Metroplex acknowledged it was time to stop treating Menasor as a wee bairn and start calling him an equal. Menasor quickly admitted that was all he ever really wanted, and agreed to join Metroplex and the Autobot team in stopping the black hole. Optimus

Menasor cemented his new allegiance when he stood with the Autobots against Galvatron for control of the completed Omega Lock, although he fell just like the rest of them. Menasor showed what a truly good spark lay within him when he joined Quickmix in defending the Earth children against falling debris created by the fight between Starscream and Galvatron. Showdown After Galvatron won and the space bridge back to normal space crumbled in his absence, Menasor and the other denizens of Giant Planet lent their considerable expertise to constructing a new space bridge. Menasor eagerly worked side-by-side with Quickmix as an equal as they worked at a breakneck pace to reconstruct the Cybertronian technology from scratch. Although their efforts failed, the Autobots soon found another way to return home, and Menasor left Gigantion with Metroplex and Quickmix to lend his strength to the final struggle against Galvatron and the black hole. Menasor and the Gigantians united with the Transformers of five worlds to put an end to Galvatron. Homecoming He fought alongside Metroplex and Quickmix against the Decepticon Ransack, who was now their equal in size thanks to a power-up from Galvatron. End After the villains were defeated and the black hole closed for good, Menasor eagerly jumped into a new construction project, building massive thrusters on Jungle Planet to alter its orbit and bring it back into the proper alignment. Unfinished When Optimus Prime proposed the Transformers restart the space bridge program of their ancestors, Menasor and Heavy Load signed on for that as well. They took their place aboard the Atlantis with Optimus Prime, and blasted off into the great unknown on a new journey.

At some point after, he was known to have fought the mysterious Initial T with Leobreaker. Beginning

In Axiom Nexus, Menasor was working with Dirge and the Malignus hunting down the assassins who killed Gutcruncher. When it was revealed Black Shadow was the culprit, Menasor laid a mighty smackdown on him, crushing the Crossformer into the street. In the melee that followed, Menasor was eventually taken into custody by Cheetor and the Security Administration. Gone Too Far

  • Menasor (Ultra, 2006)
Sold in the fifth wave of Cybertron Ultra-class toys (and the only new toy in that assortment), Menasor transforms into a Cybertronic (Gigantion?) excavation machine. He has an "assault" vehicle mode that widens the space between his drills and separates the plow halves on his front so his partner Mini-Con Heavy Load can fit in, expanding the blade's width. In robot mode, Menasor's chest panel flips down to reveal a space for Heavy Load to fit in his robot mode. The panel also has a double-barreled flip-down (non-firing) blaster. He also has an alternate "work" robot mode, which widens his stance and reverses the direction of his knees.
Menasor's drill-arm gimmicks are fully functional in all modes. Placing a Mini-Con on the Powerlinx plug on his right drill unlocks the spring-activated grippers to the side, plus unlocks the drill, which can extend by pushing the Mini-Con forward. The left drill spins through a gear-wheel mechanism on its underside, while plugging a Cyber Key to its Key jack activates electronic lights and sounds.
Menasor's vehicle mode actually connects together better than shown in many stock photos. The plugs on the backs of his elbows fit into the sockets on his feet; these are supposed to connect together in vehicle mode. (The official instructions and show model do not even acknowledge that the connectors exist.) They do so fairly well, but must be disconnected for Menasor's Heavy-Load-added assault-vehicle mode. It actually comes packed like this, though there's no mention of it anywhere.
The Mini-Con hardpoints on his knees are notable for being awkwardly placed; in his true robot mode, the legs can't be positioned straight down because the pegs bump into each other. This gives Menasor an unusual bowlegged stance, and adding Mini-Cons to the pegs will prevent him from being able to stand at all, since the added robots would make Menasor actually have to do a split.
In Japan, "Moledive" was only available through e-HOBBY's online ordering service as a "USA Edition" in October of 2006... ten months after Galaxy Force stopped in Japan. He was basically an unchanged Hasbro release complete with packaging, just now with a sticker on the bottom of the box of Japanese legal information, which is also the only place on the packaging that calls him "Moledive".
This mold was used as the basis for the non-toy Omega Doom.

Notes

  • Like the other Gigantions, Menasor's "work" robot mode is only seen in the Cybertron cartoon as a halfway point in his vehicle-to-robot stock footage transformation sequence.
