- 1986 — Jake Dalrymple, the road-raged hot shot, also from the Marvel Comics continuity.
- 1988 — Jake Colton, the professional B-movie actor, also from Marvel.
- 1989 — Jake "The Jackhammer" Jackson, the wrestler from New York City. Marvel again.
- 1999 — Jake, the shape-shifting human from Animorphs.
- 2004 — Jake Williams, a trucker from "Lonesome Diesel" in the Transformers Legends anthology.
- 2006 — Jacob Lee Bonaventure, a railroader from Hearts of Steel.
- 2007 — Jacob Thompson, a Sector Seven pilot from Ghosts of Yesterday.
- 2013 — Jake, the NEST rookie from Human Alliance.
- 2014 — Jake, one of The Blues, from Angry Birds Transformers.
There are also some real-life Jakes involved with Transformers:
- Jake Foushee, voice of Cyberverse Optimus Prime.
- Jake Isenberg, comic book inker (also known as "Jake Eisen").
