Hydrofoils are devices used by Transformers with ground alternate modes to move across water.

The Autobots made use of hydrofoils, newly installed by Wheeljack, to reach a wave-powered electrical station. The Ultimate Doom, Part 1 Cliffjumper used his hydrofoils to join Tracks and Seaspray in dealing with some time-displaced pirates. Earthrise Cliffjumper includes a massive bazooka based on the one he used in "More than Meets the Eye, Part 1". This cannon can split apart into five pieces—two skis, two pontoons, and an undercarriage piece—and attach to the underside of Cliffjumper's vehicle mode to form his hydrofoils as seen in "Dinobot Island, Part 2". These accessories in varying colors were also included with all redecos and retools of this mold, retaining their functionality as hydrofoils.
