I keep telling you, "Firebot" just isn't a good Cheat Commando name!

Firebot leads the Emergency Mini-Con Team and does so with unmatched zeal. His enthusiasm is infectious, pushing his already hardworking teammates to even greater levels. He doesn't stop until his job is done, and he pushes others to put in that same one-hundred-percent-plus—and they do.

He's a friend to his subordinates when he needs to be, a hard-nosed boss to them when he needs to be...even a brawler when he needs to be, and even sometimes when he doesn't really need to be. A fair few Decepticons have learned not to underestimate the little rescue worker.

Armada cartoon

Mars Firebot.jpg

Firebot's Mini-Con storage panel landed in a rather out-of-the-way location: on Mars. Jetfire and Starscream were dispatched to retrieve him, and eventually found his panel embedded on an asteroid in orbit around the red planet. After Starscream activated Firebot, he convinced the Mini-Con to join forces with the Autobots rather than serve as a slave of the Decepticons. Firebot blasted Tidal Wave for the Autobots, and accompanied them back to Earth where he was welcomed by the other Mini-Cons under their care. Mars

Firebot is one of the many Mini-Cons who gathered on Earth in preparation for the trip back to Cybertron and the battle with the chaos-bringer Unicron. Presumably, he joined Over-Run at the Loop, where the Mini-Cons channeled their energies through the Matrix and dealt the fatal blow to Unicron. The End

No, he didn't grow a gun-hand. That's Ratchet firing.

A Firebot hailed from Aurex 606.0 Kappa. The Emergency Mini-Con Team had just aided Red Alert, Longarm, Smokescreen, and Jolt in a battle against the Decepticons Landslide, Drench, and Wind Sheer when Unicron abducted Red Alert. Unicron would have also gotten Longarm if Firebot hadn't shoved Longarm out of the way and taken his place. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/14 Red Alert and Firebot were subsequently held prisoner in the Cauldron arena. The quick thinking of Trailbreaker and Silverbolt released them, and they participated in the great escape led by Optimus Primal. Escape However, Red Alert and Firebot's home reality had seemingly ceased to exist, and thus they ended up in Aurex 204.0 Kappa with another Smokescreen who had also been in the Cauldron. This Smokescreen helped them adapt to their new home. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/14

  • Emergency Mini-Con Team (Mini-Con 3-pack, 2003)
Armada Firebot transforms into an aircraft-crash-response truck of probably-made-up model. He also has a third "weapon mode" transformation, becoming a (non-firing) multi-missile pod.
As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket on the underside of his vehicle mode that allows him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs, activating special gimmicks on the larger toys when attached to a "live" plug.
He was normally only available in a three-pack with his teammates Makeshift and Prowl. In the Hasbro line, the Adventure Team were released in the fifth assortment of Mini-Con teams. In Japan, it was part of the eighth wave of Legend of the Microns product, released in September 2003. Aside from packaging, there are no noteworthy differences between the two releases.
This mold was also used to make Quench, Micron Booster Cluster, and Cybertron Anti-Blaze, and slightly retooled into Graviton.
