David Reeve

David Reeve is a human from the Bumblebee portion of the movie continuity family.

David Reeve, alias Agent Omega Zero, is exactly the kind of coolheaded action hero you'd want on your side in a crisis: quick with a handgun and quicker with a quip. One of MI6's best operatives, Reeve has seen action across the world while operating under the employ of the United Kingdom's top-secret P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E., and consequently considers himself an irresistible ladykiller... even if those same ladies don't necessarily reciprocate the feeling.

Like any self-respecting international superspy, Reeve carries a variety of secret gizmos on his person at all times and drives a luxury car chock-full of hidden weapons. In his case, however, his car is also his partner—the Autobot Bumblebee!

During the Cold War, David Reeve became Bumblebee's partner when the yellow Autobot was loaned to the United Kingdom's intelligence services; the two quickly became good friends and embarked on a series of missions aimed at countering the activities of the E.I.D.O.L.O.N. crime syndicate. Circa 1964, the pair had successfully tracked E.I.D.O.L.O.N.'s activities to their base in East Berlin. By disguising himself as an E.I.D.O.L.O.N. grunt, Reeve was able to infiltrate the base but discovered that their leader, the villainous Konrad Gotell, had been killed—and that his office had been rigged to self-destruct.

Reeve escaped, but was captured by Wildrider while waiting for Bumblebee to extract him, and was subsequently forced to rely on Bumblebee defeating the Decepticon before the pair were able to make their escape. Some time later, the pair returned to England and met with Diana Lux at a secret base, learning that Wildrider had been working with two other Decepticons and that all available evidence suggested that the aliens were working with a human collaborator. When those same Decepticons were revealed to have killed Pelham and attacked the studio, Reeve and Lux were rescued by Bumblebee and the trio made their escape. Contacting B.A.S.E.S.T.A.T.I.O.N. from a nearby phone booth, Reeve learned the grim truth from the organization's E.G.G.H.E.A.D.s: an agent operating from within P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E. was the mole responsible for the attack.
