- The Centurion is a piece of technology from the Shattered Glass continuity family.
The Centurion mech armor is the end product of Project Shieldbreaker, an initiative of Blackrock Petroleum and Energy Concern. A red, grey, and gold robot, it bristles with spikes and more weapons than a military cruiser. Among its armaments are concussion charges, an EMP cannon, and missile launchers, and if those aren't enough, it also comes with dozens of Teleoperated Battlefield Ordnance Batteries, mobile units equipped with plasma guns. The Centurion's many hydrogen cells give it an effective peak operating time of hours, making it a match for the less energy-efficient Autobots.

Project Shieldbreaker was headed by Professor Morris, and was intended to be a means of fighting back against the Autobots, who had cost R.J. Blackrock's company a lot of money from their oil raids. Blackrock himself piloted the Centurion in its first test run, taking it against a number of Autobots whom he'd lured to an old oil pipeline. With the mech's offensive capability and endurance, he waded through the Autobot forces and even knocked out Soundwave with an EMP, promising that he would salvage Autobot and Decepticon alike for their technology later. The fight came to an end when Sephie Beller, who had augmented herself with Cybertronian technology, attacked Centurion. Her use of an Autobot fuel-evaporation power sent the hydrogen fuel cells critical. Blackrock ejected in the control pod, and the rest of the Centurion mech exploded. Blackrock was confident that the test had proved the design's effectiveness against Cybertronians, and planned to build more. Transhuman
