In the far past, the Divine Light fell from the heavens onto Akalo. The artifact was found by the Akalouthans, who venerated what they perceived to be a divine object. Centuries later, the Akalouthans encountrered Cybertronians for the first time; Tap-Out and Glyph. Though they reacted as one might expect a primitive society would to alien robots, they eventually came to see their visitors as commonplace. Over three hundred years later, Primal Prime's Wreckers arrived on-planet, stirring up the Akalouthans once more, as they believed the intruders to be after their sacred artifact: the Divine Light. Glyph intervened, stopping the hostilies at once. Unfortunately, not all of the new arrivals were friendly; among them was the traitorous Cyclonus, who turned on the rest of the Wreckers, and stole away the Divine Light. Betrayal Despite being robbed of their divine object, the Akalouthans persevered through these events, and simply went about fixing up their town after it had been damaged by the altercation with Cyclonus. In order to further help the Akalouthans soldier through the loss of their artifact, CatSCAN and Glyph stayed behind on their planet while the rest of the Wreckers headed out into space to complete their mission.
