Wild Arms is an early PlayStation RPG, set in a dying "old west" world. Features top down overworld gameplay and 3D battle animations.
Map Select Debug Menu
A simple map select debug menu is hidden away in Wild Arms. To activate it, input the following GameShark code, and when active, a new option, "Map", will appear at the bottom of the options menu.

It's pretty self-explanatory: Pick a location, and you'll warp to it instantly. The maps that can be warped to are sorted by type (O = Overworld, T = Town, D = Dungeon, E = Event, and ? = Miscellaneous areas), and for the most part, the maps are clearly labeled.
Unused Items
There are a few unused items hidden away in the game's code.
- Holy Grail - By far the game's most well-known unused item, as its icon appears on the game's built-in screensaver (as seen in the accompanying screenshot). This left-hand accessory can only be accessed by GameShark or a similar device, and protects against instant death. It's fully functional, and no one knows why it was left out.
- Sheriff Whop - Not to be confused with the Sheriff Star, this was evidently going to be some sort of consumable item. Its description is simply "Arrests outlaws", and while it can be used in battle, it just crashes the game.
- Diary - Seemingly some sort of consumable item; it's always highlighted in white, but it can't actually be used anywhere. Its description is simply "Pauses journey", suggesting that it may have been intended to save your game anywhere.
- Spirit Ring - This is mixed in with all the other elemental rings. It supposedly has the power of "Soul", but what this means is unknown.
- Side Blade - A "weapon for the left hand". Can be equipped by Jack, but doesn't raise stats or have any other noticeable effect.
- Chris Knife - Another Jack-exclusive left hand item with no readily visible effect.
- Blade Crash - More of the same. Perhaps there were plans to allow Jack to fight two-sword style (like the Genji Glove in Final Fantasy VI allows) at some point in development.
- Reverse Edge - The last of four left handed swords. None of them have any effect.
There are also numerous blank items with no icon, description, or effect.
