An ordinary, middle-class guy with an ordinary job who is understanding, sincere, loving and committed to his woman. The man of every woman’s dream.
I know that Lee Jun Ho might come across as an “unrealistic” neurotypical cis straight male character BUT I love how they portrayed him as someone who gets anxious about getting into a relationship. He’s head over heels but he’s also cautious not only because of the fact that Woo Young Woo is autistic but because he really wants to be serious about his feelings towards WYW. And if he and she were to begin a relationship, he’ll know that one day he might hurt her and he just won’t bear it. He’s pysching himself to be ready for what is afoot in their relationship.
We rarely see this type of attitude of male characters in Korean dramas. You don’t often see how male characters in dramas have a dilemma such as LJH. They always seem to be sure of how they feel, always charged with lust, always kissing the female character out of the blue, endless saccharine quips, severe macho-feudal energy (which I absolutely fucking hate)
Truly one of the best (if not THE best [in my opinion of course] drama of all time)
