Mount&Blade: Warband is the sequel for Mount&Blade. It introduces a new faction system, improved graphics and gameplay as well as multiplayer for up to 64 players at once. It was released worldwide for Windows on March 30, 2010. A multiplayer-only expansion, Mount&Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars, was released on April 20, 2012. In July 2014 Mount&Blade: Warband was released for Linux as well. In December 2014, another expansion called Mount&Blade: Warband - Viking Conquest was released.

In addition to the usual deathmatch and team deathmatch modes there is also Capture the Flag, where players must defend their flag while trying to capture the enemy flag, and Siege mode, where one team defends a castle while the other attacks it.
