Camelot Software Planning is a Japanese video game developer. Founded in 1990 as a second party of Sega, the company parted ways with them in 1995. After a few more years, they entered a partnership with Nintendo, which lasts to this day..
In its Sega days, Camelot was best known for the Shining games, a series of RPGs made for the Genesis and Sega Saturn. Under Nintendo, Camelot has been known for making Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, and Golden Sun games, working on virtually every Nintendo system from the N64 onwards.
