This guide is for the NES Golf game. For the Game Boy release, see Baseball (Game Boy). For other games in the baseball genre, see Baseball.

Baseball was the eighth game that Nintendo released for the Famicom. It was the second best selling Famicom game released during 1983 and 1984, selling approximately 2,350,000 copies in its lifetime, beaten only by Golf (NES). It was converted for use in the arcades as Vs. Baseball as part of Nintendo's Vs. arcade series. It was the first baseball game for the NES. It was re-released for the Famicom Disk System, and later as a set of e-Reader cards for the Game Boy Advance. In 2006, it was released for the Wii Virtual Console. In 2011, it was released for the 3DS Virtual Console, the Wii U Virtual Console in 2013, and the Switch Online in 2018.
