A long time programmer with lots of IBM and supplier-to-IBM experience using C/C++, Rexx, APL/2, assembler. Finally excaped from the Blue-o-sphere to work in the transportation industry creating firmware for gate access systems for containerized freight yards.
Translation: tons of not-the-way-anybody-else-does-it software development and experience writing software that lives somewhere between BIOS and applications. I've probably written well over a million lines of Rexx, my favorite language. And I am also an opinionated snob about editors. Them what aren't derived from Xedit or look like VisualSlickEdit are junk.
