Barnsquids was an award system used by Inkipedia primarily from 2015-2017, that concluded in 2024. The purpose of Barnsquids was to be given to Inkipedia users for completing various tasks and going above and beyond what is expected, being similar to Wikipedia's barnstar system. They were typically placed on user or user talk pages to let them know that their work is appreciated. This system has since been replaced with Userboxes, and all of the benchmarks covered by Barnsquids have been turned into specific boxes like Template:User edit count or Template:User Splatfest.
