Since the independence of Bangladesh, the attainment of good governance has been a far cry. The main aim of the war of independence was the economic and social freedom. It still remains a dream because of political instability and lack of long-term planning and implementation. Bangladesh is a developing country of South Asia and it has a parliamentary democracy, where the president is the head of the state. But the Prime Minister, as the head of the government, forms the cabinet and performs the daily affairs of the state. A number of constraints and challenges stand as barriers for establishing good governance in Bangladesh.

Since Napoleon’s expeditionary force landed in Egypt in 1798, it has been an object of rivalry among the great powers. The strategic value of the Middle East was considered as the gateway between Europe and the Far East. The Arab-Israeli conflict is one of the most bitter, protracted, and intractable conflicts of modern times. It is also one of the dominant themes in theInternational Relations of the Middle East. There are two principal levels to this conflict: the interstate level and the Israeli-Palestinian level. In origin and essence, this is a clash between the Jewish and Palestinian national movements over the land of Palestine. The Oslo Agreement, also known as the Oslo Accords, is an agreement signed between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) on September 13, 1993, meant to effectively bring the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to its end through territorial concessions and facilitating the creation of the Palestinian Authority.
The accords, representing a milestone Israeli-Palestinian relations, were finalized in Oslo, Norway, on August 20, 1993. The official signing ceremony was held in Washington the following September, with then-Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat representing both sides and US President Bill Clinton serving as their witness.
