The objects of our study are historical aspects of establishment of constitutional, parli... more The objects of our study are historical aspects of establishment of constitutional, parliamentary traditions and modern comparative analysis on examples of Western European caountries and Georgia.
The development of Parliamentarism in a historical-chronological point of view is divided in several periods: Antic, Middle Ages and Modern (New and The latest). The Parliament has a different role in various government political systems. That is, the reason we tried to tell you modestly by this study about historical aspects of Parliamentary development, passed by Western European countries and Georgia, also about the role and importance of Parliamentary activities.
In the most of Western European Parliamentary countries and Parliamentary monarchies, The Parliament presents the supreme institution that forms the government. In dualistic monanachies and semipresidental republics, such as France, which is the one and only in Western Europe, as semipresidental, the legislatlve institution has the largest function and presents one of the governmental branches.
Georgia passed the hard way of government transformation from feudal monarchy. In 1918-1921 Georgia was a parliamentary republic, from 1995 it became presidential, from 2004 super presidential, from 2013 semipresidental, from 2018 it is forming as parliamentary republic, laying on the first republic’s historical-legal heritage. It is symbolic, that our country, Georgia chose the way of classic type of parliamentary republic, on the base of Western European experience.
Master Thesis consists of four chapters, ten subchapters, conclusion, sorces and the used literature. In the first chapter of this work there are discussed historical aspects of establishment of constitutional, parliamentary traditions and the role of parliament in political structures of Government, The second chapter is dedicated to developing and completing Parliamentarism in Western European developed countries, specifically on the examples of Great Britain, France, Spain and Germany. Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of these countries, that distinguishes them. The third chapter includes all essential issues connected to development of constitutionalism and parliamentarism in Georgia. The fourth chapter is dedicated to comparative analysis, where outlined all the advantages and disadvatages, which were characteristic to the development of constitutionalism and parliamentarism in Georgia.

Georgia has strategic location. Our country represents an international hub, connection between Europe and Asia.
This is the reason why Georgia is and has always been the object of constant attention of world's many countries and regional players.
The republic of Georgia must do everything to keep the national security and interests and finally become a member of the civil world, UN and NATO.
It will be hard to defend the country from Russian aggression and even harder to build a peaceful relationship somehow.
