Story
[change | change source]There are three different nuclear families, who are all part of one well-off, middle-class extended family. They all live in suburban Los Angeles. Jay is the father of Claire and Mitchell and his second wife Gloria has a son from her first marriage called Manny, and a son with Jay called Joe. Claire and her husband Phil have three children, Haley, Alex and Luke. Mitchell and his husband Cameron have a daughter called Lily, whom they adopted from Vietnam.
