Third cholera pandemic

The third cholera pandemic was the cholera pandemic that occurred from 1846 to 1860, and was the third large-scale cholera outbreak in history. Some scholars also believe that the pandemic began in 1837 and did not end until 1863. The pandemic started in India and spread to all parts of the world. In the Russian Empire, more than 1 million people died of cholera. It is one of the deadliest epidemics in history.
