My entry for the Artstation Challenge: The Legend of King Arthur - Film/VFX Character Art. I did some minor tweaks for this version. This beautiful medieval style dress has no historical prototype, however the silhouette and the style of finishing corresponds to the latter half of the fourteenth century. The inspiration of the pattern comes from the fit of the Norman gown which has been dated from that particular period.
