基于网络讨论的CSCL（计算机支持的协作学习）活动在教学实践中的应用非常普及，这是因为网络论坛能够为学习者提供协作学习环境，方便学习者以个体或小组的形式参与网络交流过程。为了探讨基于网络讨论的CSCL活动过程，本文采用案例研究和内容分析法，对基于Salmon模型设计的CSCL活动过程从帖子数量的分布情况、分享情况、对话情况和文本类型四个方面进行了分析。研究结果表明，社会性是网络CSCL活动的重要影响因素之一。对CSCL活动的不同阶段，本文所探讨的CSCL活动过程的四个方面分别呈现出不同的规律性。本文研究结论对于指导CSCL活动设计和应用具有积极的参考价值。

presents an open-architecture Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) system based on Windows CE, which is a multi-task embedded real-time operating system. The CNC system adopts a master-slave architecture, And the Master applies with Windows CE, which charges weak real-time tasks such as NC code's editor, interpreter and simulator function block, fault diagnosis, 11O monitoring and control etc, while the slave adopts a motion control card based on Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), which charges hard realtime tasks including interpolation, electromotor control etc. The research realizes the construction of hardware and software of CNC system and solves such core issues as NC code interpreter and simulation, Rate Monotonic Scheduling (RMS) task schedule algorithm and task scheduling of CNC system. The experimental results have proven the development of CNC system based on Windows CE is a feasible, novel and fast technology course in the field of CNC.

The paper gives an overview of some of the museum-like activities currently being undertaken in Second Life. Current development is mostly in the hands of pioneers, often interested amateurs engaging in serious leisure to create spaces enabling them to share their interests with others. These efforts are explored i n this paper through a systematic analysis of museum visits and a qualitative analysis of interviews with designers and developers of museums in Second Life. Findings identified include the impact of the current technology on what is created, and the importance of interaction-centric designs.

There is a history of programmes in educational technology in colleges and universities in China going back about 70 years. This paper briefly reviews the developmental history of the educational technology programme in China, elaborates the status-quo of the programme and looks ahead into the future trends of educational technology development in China. Finally, it expresses the authors' wishes to promote international exchange and cooperation in educational technology. Educational technology in China: looking backward The development of educational technology as a discipline in China can be divided into three stages: formation stage (from 1930s to 1949), development stage (from 1949 to 1978) and rapid development stage (from 1978 to the present).

Computer supported instruction can easily facilitate different learning environments, different teaching models and learning styles. In hybrid learning environment, the teachers face a big challenge to find the suitable teaching strategies for a specific content. In this study, three experiments were conducted to explore the different math teaching strategies for different contents and different characteristics of the students in hybrid learning environment. The results indicated that traditional teaching was more suitable for the algebra related topics. Computer supported hybrid teaching was more effective for the graph related topics. Towards different students' characteristics, medium and low performance students benefited more from the computer supported hybrid teaching. The traditional teaching was more suitable for the high performance students. The student-centered hybrid learning requested significant more teaching hours to facilitate effective learning results.

Based on the theories of collaborative learning, process-oriented writing, formative assessment and peer assessment, this study presents the author's empirical research on applying Wiki to teaching English writing. It further discusses the way of using Wiki to assist teaching English writing, and under its assistance, how learners' writing can be improved, and thus from what aspects it takes effect. The results turn out that writing on Wiki does take some effects in improving the efficiency of teaching English writing and enhancing learners' writing proficiency. With this empirical research, the authors hope this study provide useful implications for the relevant educators and teaching researchers to find out a new mode for teaching collaborative English writing.

This article reports on a teaching experiment that uses speech visualization technology to facilitate EFL (English as a foreign language) learners’ ability of imitating and reading aloud (IRA). Traditional practice of “listen and repeat” used in pronunciation and intonation training often only hazily illustrates some salient speech features, such as pitch and intensity, etc., making it difficult for learners to accurately differentiate the features of pronunciation and capture the subtlety of intonation of the target language . As speech visualization transforms aural information into visual graphics and illustrates it in a clearer way, it can highlight the most important phonetic features of utterances. Such technology was used in a three-month teaching experiment carried out in a senior middle school in southern China for the purpose of reducing learners’ phonetic errors and enabling them to perceive sense groups appropriately.The results indicated that this approach was effective...

Online education has long been suffering from high dropout rate and low achievement. However, both asynchronous and synchronous online instructions have to become effective to serve as a quick response to maintain undisrupted learning during the COVID-19 outbreak. The purpose of the present study was to examine student engagement, learning outcome, and students' perceptions of an online course featured with frequent tasks, quizzes, and tests as formative assessment. Data were collected from the first five weeks of a course that was temporarily converted from blended learning to be fully online in time of school closure. Analysis of students' learning records and scores indicated that students engaged themselves actively in all of the online learning activities and had gained high scores in all tasks, quizzes, and tests. In addition, students held positive perceptions towards the formative assessment.

In the information age, learning has become ubiquitous, and mobile learning enabled by mobile technologies is expected to play a significant role in various educational settings. Currently, there exist some limitations on mobile learning from the perspective of technology. The implementation of mobile learning usually depends on the development of applications. In this paper, a whole different and flexible model is proposed, in which the development of applications is replaced by the direct utilization of WeChat. That is, we use WeChat instead of developing a new application to integrate with Moodle to provide students a mobile learning environment. After three years in practice, students become more inclined to log into Moodle directly via WeChat with the evolution of the mobile learning environment. And over a half of surveyed students think the mobile learning environment useful.
