Published by Robert Harling in the Spring 1950 edition of Image:The Quarterly for the Visual Arts to accompany Richard Gainsborough's article on the artist. Image size is c.5x8 1/4" on c.10x7 sheet. The original woodcut was in the limited edition (750 copies only) of 'Matthew Flinders' narrative of his voyage in the schooner Francis, 1798. Preceded and followed by Notes on Flinders, Bass, the wreck of the Sydney Cove etc. by Geoffrey Rawson. ' This was published by the Golden Cockerel Press in 1946.
