Wafer paper sails tutorial
✔️ Life hack that helped us throughout the wedding season. The fastest way to make sails is to take thin wafer paper and hold it over steam. You can use a powerful steamer or hold it over a pot. The biggest problem with these sails is the attachment. They get soggy and deformed on buttercream. They peel off ganache and chocolate velvet due to lack of moisture. How do we solve this problem? We make a patch from wafer paper on the cake, and then we stick the sails to it with water.
